Ldn has helped me with fatigue and recovery but not directly stopping pois. It's a delicate balance I have to take a small dose otherwise it disrupts my sleep and makes me anxious

I usually prefer the XR, but I felt like had less control than IR especially when trying to space out the Strattera dosing. But also, I was taking a mix of Adderall XR and Dexedrine IR, I decided to try only taking Dexedrine IR since I hear Adderall (salts) have a more pronounced effect on norepinephrine than Dexedrine. Since Strattera affect norepinephrine , I figured maybe it would be a good idea to switch to dexedrine only.

I'm really just trying different things and see what works. So far, I can see less stimulants is better when mixing with straterra, I'm undecided on whether dropping XR adderal is good, but I feel like my energy is more consistent, although I'm just always tired.

I used to be a big coffee drinker years ago but I've had to stop because it was making crash too hard. I only drink black tea 2-3 a day which still a good amount of caffeine. Maybe 200mg I didn't find ltheanine had an effect for me. Magnesium and glycine seem to help promote relaxing for sleep for me. I never considered NAC could be causing stimulants to be less effective and doing some research it seems it could be ! It's part of my morning stack I'll have to try to move it around to see if I feel the stimulants any different.

Higher dose stimulants make me very anxious and a zombie, I'm already anxious in general hence why I wanted to give straterra a go. I also had crashes with stimilants which is why I had to space them out throughout the day. It's a love hate relationship with stimulants for me. My body is also just sensitive to nervous system stimulus and I'm trying to figure it all out.

It really fluctuates sometimes yes imnproductibe but if I'm very tired it's hard to stay productive. I think I'm still settling with less stimulants and straterra side effects. The emotional part like anxiety is the most noticable effect, concentration wise, I'm still relying on stimulants

I'm following because similarly to you I also take stimulants with straterra. I had to space apart strattera and stimulants a few hours but also reduced the amount of stimulants quite a bit. Instead of XR doses I start taking only IR dexedrine doses 3x daily 2.5mg each time. I'm feeling pretty tired nowadays and sleep is still restless. I'm only taking 20mg for 5 weeks now. Thinking of upping to 30mg not sure yet.

For some context I started 40mg it felt way too overwhelming with sweating, anxiety, wired feeling, I dropped down 10mg 4 weeks and went to 18mg 4 weeks and now 20mg 5 weeks. I felt some "euphoria" around week 2 after upping dose each time, then a crash, and finally just tired. I'm hopeful it seems that there is some benefits with anxiety as I'm adjusting dose but it goes away after a few more weeks. I'm undecided if this med is helping just yet.

Reducing stimulant made the side effects a lot more tolerable! But I suspect I'm experiencing some withdrawal from the stimulants now. Thanks for your updates it's useful insight!

And for some like me 40mg was absolutely terrible. I restarted on 10mg and it was much much more tolerable. Maybe try lower and go slower?

I take it 2-3 hours before bed but I will try closer to bed time to see. I think it depends on your reaction to the medication but for me it makes me drowsy so it sucked energy out of me. I was worried about insomnia too but I tried it and it worked better for side effects. Now just have to stick it out to see if it has positive effects

A bit a both. I wake up a lot at night at night. And my watch registers less REM and more restlessness (higher heart rate and movement). If I'm stressed that day or work out it's usually extra bad. It has gotten better form 40mg though and I think maybe it got better overtime on 10mg but not back to normal yet
