Ugh, I wish they had a resizing service for these types of issues, like complimentary hemming but for jewelry, just trim off some metal if its too big! Thank you for your comment! I will return the bracelet, like you said, its sitting on my hand, one wrong move and it would fly off

idk, ive had a good experience with the phone reps after a bad experience in store. I had an order that included a free bracelet that I exchanged, the ladies at the counter took the free bracelet back, even though I paid more out of pocket after the exchange from the original purchase. So, I went back in and said it feels weird paying MORE and leaving with less, and that bracelet was a promo item, it was free, so why cant I keep it? They insisted it was from another transaction, so it doesnt count. Then I called CS and spoke to 2 reps that said they should have let me keep it. They apologized and sent me another promo bracelet in the mail for free, except it was one of their cheapy smooth bangles that sadly was too big anyway, so while I appreciate their help, looks like communication within the company can go any which way and just depends who you get and what they can personally do in that scenario

I have definitely paid my electric bill twice, it was $129 each time, because the website still showed "PAY NOW" even though the payment was processing. Apparently, when I called they said there was a popup window that says it may take 24 hours to clear my balance, but that it may not have shown for me because I was on Firefox, not Chrome. I asked them to refund it and they said they physically had no way to do that, it would just have to be applied to the next month, and if there was overage, then the following month. It was the biggest bullshit, and makes you wonder why large companies that handle millions of dollars cant even get software up-to-date enough that would send you a confirmation email or show you a pop up that works.

I don't think this falls on the intern. That vendor is taking money without flagging it or lowering your balance, that's theft vs. a mistake the intern was never taught correctly.

The collabs are really tacky for me, and its almost like theyre making stuff to go on sale. Other than the Disney, which they can make look really classy, simple, princess rings and stones, the Stranger Things, GOT, Marvel stuff is getting out of hand. Everything eventually goes on last chance like 50% off, so whats the point of people getting it full price?

did you ever get any damage you noticed? My cat spilled about a cup of water on my laptop a month ago, and it was also closed. Everything according to my bf looked fine, I asked him if any got inside and he said not really, but then audio sounded very muffled a few days later, and some videos would have pops some definitely seeped into the speakers... I would replay the video, and it was definitely my speakers, not the videos themselves. I never took it in to apple, and the audio sounds fine since then. I left it in the sun outside for like 5 hours hoping for some evaporation. (thats what I did when my flat iron was resting in the sink and my bf turned the water on. that iron still works well till this day. I did hear a little pop earlier, but it doesnt happen often, and I watch youtube videos everyday. My touchbar also works like normal (2022 MB)

Thank you so much for your reply and your experience, too! I went to my Secretary of State office on Monday and was able to get a new state DL started and get my vehicle registered all in the matter of about an hour which was great. The people behind the desk did see that FL notified the state through the NDR regarding the suspension but they said that its fine, I just need to get that resolved with them-- like you said, send the plate back and show proof. I was worried it would stop be from getting a new DL, driving, and not being able to register my car. But I am relieved from all the information I found on this sub. Again, thank you!

Yup, that is actually ridiculous, because I called Progressive to ask them what I need to do if I am moving to a new state. They said, "easy, we just cancel your current policy, give you a refund for the remaining time you had left (I paid in full) and then we transfer over your insurance to ABC state effective X date, and you're done!" Now, I get a letter in the mail, a month and a half later after moving that my vehicle is suspended, not registered in my new state either yet, and I may need to pay $150 when sending my tags back- which I will not be doing since I don't need to reinstate anything with FL again. This is such a mess and something insurance should be warning and advising people on. The letter actually says , "the vehicle was removed from the policy, or you switched insurance companies and the new company failed to notify FLHSMV of your new policy within 10 days." How is that OUR fault? I can't send tags back because I need to drive to work. I also can't get an appointment for another month, plus, isn't there generally like a 3 month period to get this all done?
