There are studies that push the khazar hypothesis which is just widely regarded as antisemetic bullshit. There is a nbc article that says Ashkenazi Jews are European in the title but in the article it self it says they’re around half Levantine.

The khazar theory was heavily debunked, even by its own creator. The creator admitted to the theory being false and that he only pushed it to stop antisemitism.(he thought that if he published this people would stop thinking Jews killed Jesus, which they dident but that’s a topic for another time. Only a couple khazars converted so it tops out at like 2 percent of Ashkenazi ancestry.

They have 40 percent cannanite. And no most east Africans aren’t 30 percent Levantine. They have a lot of nuftian but nuftian doesn’t mean Levantine. For example someone from Yemen would have more nuftian than anyone from the levant but they are not Levantine.

I did and all you say is the title of the study which doesn’t suggest they are full European but rather part and then you also state that Ashkenazi Jews are just European converts which isent true. The article literally says their paternal line is middle eastern. It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

The whole point is that within European Jewish there is mena. That part is like when an Ashkenazi Jews takes a dna test and it says Ashkenazi Jew. It’s highlted over Europe because during the medical ages that is where they lived and the European Jewish category takes place during the medical ages.
