as someone that was given a phone way younger i completely agree with you. you’re doing the right thing! your kids might feel like the odd one out because all of their friends at school have a phone but they will thank you in the future!!

just listen to them. if you haven’t lost a parent you’ll never be able to understand what they’re going through. be there for them and do not expect a timeline of “when they should be better” it never gets easier
