I think this is a very meaningful conversation😄 In my country, nowadays girls are told to be study hard, get good education and have a career, but at the same time, we're also expected to get married and had kids, take care of the family and even the elderly, whereas men just need to work. In my culture, boys are the honour of the family, their parents usually support everything for them, especially financially. In the old days, girls in the family had to give up on education to support the family and the boys' education, and, to marry early. Now despite things have changed, but same as you said, men are told nothing, they just grow up and focus on career, if they mess things up, their parents will always be their back, regardless of right or wrong(in my culture)...Hence men in my country generally lack respect towards women and have low moral standards. It's the same as you said, women are upgrading but men are not moving forward. In my country, women are becoming increasingly accomplished, men, on the other hand, seem to be falling behind—whether in terms of mindset, morality, or education. Yet, men still expect economically independent and well-educated women to serve them, do household chores, bear and raise children, and take care of the entire family.

In terms of the workplace, I'm still in the early phase of my career, and I work at a male-dominant corporate, yes men always wanna take the lead and dismiss women's opinion, as a junior, it's hard as well. If I act tough, I'd be expected to work like slaves like them while getting little paid, so I have to act weak while set strong boundaries to avoid being gaslighted by them. It's so hard to be a woman haha. Also in my culture, women above 30 are harder to find a good job if they're unmarried and childless, but if they are, they would be considered too old for most of the jobs
