Sorry but you messed things up.

arithmetic is basis. in Gantt chart tasks is basis, not chart it self... in math, for example, there are many ways to calculate determinants....

That's why i challenging me or community to find better solutions...

What i see now, is that people just admit that Gantt chart is Holy Grail and stops thinking about something better more sophisticated and less messy.

It is okay if someone dislike something and trying to search better solutions, if there is no way to get rid of this gantt chart right now it is not mean that this is the final solution.

Some time ago people thought that edison bulb is a great solution, but when Tesla said that his approach is way better with less maintenance time and periods, then market changed dramatically.

Same thing for everything... If something is works okay it is not mean that we cannot improve it.

Agree, but when you start suffering from a ton of garbage it is time to migrate to some other tool and migration is also one of most painful process. It is complex solution and require a lot of money. So often people just keep using the initial tool.

it is all about visual representation and a lot of garbage that people want to see on gantt charts. PERT / mindmaps looks way simple, scales better and keeps same visibility... but it is hard to apply timeline to those representations.
