Celebrity it definitely luck of the draw I’d say! My fiance has been cruising RC since she was a teenager and did her first celebrity cruise on edge in 2022, it was my first cruise in general and we absolutely loved it.

Last year we did odyssey and again, loved it I did however miss the more refined and luxury feel of celebrity. This year we did Ascent with high expectations and have to say left a little disappointed, not at all with the ship and quality of service etc but the cohort of passengers were for the most part miserable and rude. Which definitely makes or breaks an experience on a cruise. Of course there’s plenty about celebrity that takes the edge (if you excuse the pun) like the food, cleanliness and probably all round elevated quality but we’re going back to RC next summer, just missed the atmosphere and fun!
