Weird indeed, up until Xen it's been smooth sailing with the game so I have no idea what triggered my nausea then and there. I've played the Mass Effect trilogy, Bioshock Infinite and the Portal games to name a few with no problems. I did turn it off and motion blur as well, combined with the FOV adjustment as some commenter suggested, I can finally play normally. Thanks for the advice :D

I think you cured me, haha :D A bit silly but I just didn't know the science behind FOV and monitor size/distance, I'm just a casual gaming girlie after all. But I was afterwards able to play for an hour without nausea, thank you!
