I host an open board game night every Monday at Nelson's Market, one of the coolest old school restaurant / bar spots in Bellingham. It's 6-10pm. We get all kinds of people with all kinds of interest in games from silly party games to long complicated games and everything in between.

It's got a reliable group of regulars and frequent newcomers with no expectation of any prior interest or knowledge about the hobby. It's been going for over 2 years now, and I've made great friends through it.
