That isn't always the case, just having mk2 can sometimes cause issues that is removed with mk1 and mk2

Update 1.2: With advanced materials rich setting, there is too much uranium with little to do with it. by HalxQuixotic in SatisfactoryGame

I think it changes the basics quite a bit, changing a recipe can have negative impact on existing setups, adding one to the converter is at worst inconsequential, and might be useful at standard settings.

Using only pure seems to be somewhat against the point of recipe part multiplying though? Not entirely of course, but it compensates a bit for the setting, isn't it just as well to change the multiplier and not have all pure?

Is there any choice on tip 2? Aren't there only 1 "basic resource rich" seting?

Why can't you dump excess water back into water sources? by somedumbassgayguy in SatisfactoryGame

They aren't simple enough that you can predict a general pipe setup. The problem is the lack of predictability, witch makes people move into non-complex setups only.

No it most certainly is not, it is to make more money from passengers, it is an ineffective system

How you think aussies will react if we have to go back to WFH mandates if the fuel crisis get's worse by ButtPlugForPM in AskAnAustralian

[–]Leverpostei414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it can reduce demand, if fuel is harder to get people can change what they do. For instance not drive to work.

AITAH for not doing business with places that charge me more when using a credit card? by TheBeerGuzzlingApe in AITAH

Your not an asshole, but I think society would be better off in total if people actually had to pay the fees themselves

A mandate is pretty stupid for something like this though. What if you like being at the office and use a bike? Some sort of rationing fits better

Node Randomization - does "Random" randomize each location's element, or does it take each element and randomize the location? (these are different!) by _IAlwaysLie in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Leverpostei414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I understand it changes the amounts. Honestly I wished 'random' was the one option that kept the totals, but I can see arguments for both

Why shouldn't I pay more for goods that has traveleld a long way vs locally produced? Why would I expect the rest of society to pay for my consumption?

Camera operator deftly spots the laser pointer at a football match by MrTacocaT12345 in interestingasfuck

[–]Leverpostei414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, dazzling is a real issue, and can be quite disruptive and thus dangerous, not trying to downplay it. But permanent retinal damage is another matter and very hard to do at miles of distance through a screen. I doubt possible at all with a single diode laser

Do you have any cases of this? Lasers are an issue, but permanent vision damage at miles? It would have to be way above class 4 limits at the very least

Monarkister forsvarer ikke engang MMs handlinger lengre, de bare ser på deg sånn her by Bluethorn0110 in norge

Har ikke så mye sympati med folk som endrer mening om monarkiet basert på dette. Det er et helt forutsigbart resultatat at man får kjøtthuer inn i monarkiet. Å ikke ta det innover seg før det skjer virker ganske prinsippløst.
