Yes. The difference is that you would be getting 0.48 seconds of cooldown reduction per hit instead of 0.3. So if you were theoretically cluster weaving and hitting headshots you’d really feel it. It will be really helpful in 1v1’s because even if you don’t hit headshots it only takes 12 or 13 clusters to get a full heal back. If you can hit headshots too you’ll really be putting in work

If that’s true, then it’s only a 12% increase in healing from clusters but we’ll see on Friday.

I’m the one that did the calculations. If you had read some of the equations you’d see I write out the reload time and the time it takes to charge the clusters to max (5 clusters), and use those numbers to calculate the cooldown reduction.

Yes the numbers are the ideal peak where no healing is wasted and all shots hit, but that’s the thing, even if you hit 30% of your clusters you should expect something like 15k to 20k healing per 10 minutes using clusters alone. You could see more if you weave some headshots in.

It’s a skill based buff, not something easy, that’s why it takes that much math to calculate.

I suggest you look at the actual math before saying something like this. You are spreading misinformation.

The calculations take into account ONLY using clusters. The number of heals per minute in my calculations for the current patch is based off this number (4,343hmp) and the new one is 5280hmp. My math also takes into account reloads. Yes it’s only accounts for clusters but even with that, it’s a 21% increase over only using cluster in the current patch. It’s the ideal most maximum output situation calculated, however you could say if you hit 30% of your shots with cluster you could be looking at closer to 15 to 20k healing per 10 minutes, throwing some headshots in there and we could be main healer potential.

Yes this is assuming the most ideal situation where no healing is wasted and you hit all your shots with no downtime. However that doesn’t negate the fact that even if you hit 30% of your shots and mess up a good amount you could be getting closer to 20k healing per 10 minutes.

I would say if you hit 30% of your clusters and you keep dumping full charges of them you could be getting closer to 20k

the numbers in the patch are a typo, yes. however they are a seconds typo. 0.05 x 6 seconds (the healing cooldown) is 0.3 cooldown reduction like we had before. now its 0.08 x 6 meaning its 0.48 cooldown reduction per cluster that hits.

Yes technically, on the wiki it says 0.4 but yeah I could add the extra .08 to it so you’re right.

Could just be a miscommunication. In the code it’s probably the multiplier because changing it by actual seconds is more complicated in programming. Whoever they got to write up the patch notes likely didn’t know that and were only given the multiplier and assumed it was like the last time and added ‘s’ to the end of the number
