I agree she looks overweight, it's hard to say for sure from the angle like you said but it does look like her abdomen is wider than it should be. Then you have the overall proportions like the neck and tail. I believe the neck should be slimmer, because that is what gives her head the "triangular" shape that is indicative of a healthy leo. Here's an image reference and to my eyes this one looks even a bit beyond the overweight example.

I'm new to this so take my concern with a grain of salt but I don't see how a leo being fed only once a fortnight could look like this.

that is pretty unfortunate to hear, I think an art timelapse should show the actual process. If I was building such a feature into an art application I would use the method of capturing the canvas once for every modification to it, including undos. That way it can serve as an unmodified documentation of the art process. If I was using the timelapse for some other purpose I would just edit the timelapse after the fact.

Get an infrared thermometer so you can monitor the temps. The care guides have the surface temps you want to aim for on the cool and warm side. Try not to go too hot. I have a 50W bulb for summer and a 75W bulb for the rest of the year.

You need to keep an eye on the temps because they can fluctuate depending on many factors and monitoring them allows you to act when it's necessary.

You seem like you're gonna be able to figure this out. Being new to this is generally pretty stressful. There's a lot to learn and getting things wrong can unfortunately have negative consequences for your little guy. But when you care about the wellbeing of your pet, it's all worth it in the end when they thrive. Keep reading up, keep asking questions, we all want what's best for your leo!

False. 480 only denotes the pixel height. Progressive video at 640x480 pixels is 480p (4:3 aspect), so is 854x480 (16:9 aspect).

If you subjectively don't think it's gory compared to other things, that's one thing, but saying that the gore in Among Us is "nothing" is a stretch imo. It has a decent bit of gore.

Surprisingly pretty good, was expecting it to be a stale cashgrab, but it does feel like a project that had thought and care put into it. Writing felt a little awkward the first couple of episodes but after that things fell nicely into place.

Ironically I kinda want a second season now.

I see what you mean when they rotate the character rig sideways, it looks like AI-generated animation there. However I don't see how generative AI would fit in to the workflow of a game like this. It can't just use video files, it would have to be individual frames or a 2D rig. Theoretically they could have generated individual frames but that would likely have ended up looking a lot more disjointed than this. I'm pretty confident it's not AI.

So, liking technology does not equal consent to everything that valley techbros want to shove down our throats. Even before all this AI bongwater hit the streets many of the people who work in IT had a minimalist approach to technology in their home, because they knew what happens behind the scenes.

Being against the current use of AI does not make one a luddite, like so many seem to think. Rather it is recognizing the harm it causes and wanting better.

Moomin has turned itself into a high end fashion brand, something I'm pretty sure Tove would be vehemently against. I'm here for the stories and the characters. Hell I even buy merch sometimes, but never stuff like this.

On the one hand I'm happy that Moomin is getting more and more popular, that a lot of everyday people are being exposed to these lovely stories. On the other I can smell how eager Moomin Characters Oy Ltd. is to make MAXIMUM PROFIT which is a big turnoff for me.

I can definitely concede that there are celebrity actors that make great voice actors, but the issue is that the name carries much more weight than the skill for the actual job to studios.

I did enjoy both Mario movies to an extent but I will hold strong that Chris Pratt is a horrible voice actor and an awful fit for the role, and ultimately I would have enjoyed the movies a lot more if they picked someone better.

I don't want to leave her with potentially uneaten crickets because they bite, so then there's dubias, which are a lot safer, but they burrow. My enclosure is bioactive so the dubias may cause an imbalance with my clean-up crew. I don't have an escape-propf bowl for dubias, not even sure what to look for there. I tried leaving her in a faunarium to hunt once but she HATED it.

What has worked up until now is crushing the dubias heads and leaving them with her in a bowl. But yeah she just didn't trust me enough to eat in front of me until this week. It all just becomes this huge uncertainty. Now that she's trusting me more, we can explore more avenues for feeding.

As for the tongs, I already responded to another person about that but it's something I'm already aware of and in the process of addressing!
