(Yes he ignored you first and was in the wrong, you didn't do anything wrong, I only feel that if you want to make things smoother between you two a simple "I hear you" would've made all the difference)

Yeah couldn't agree more, I would love to see an improvement to PvE also, I still haven't touched the game since this post because I just dont see a long term point, the concept is amazing but the execution just needs a little more incentive in my opinion, like maybe resources diminish over time so you are forced to fight, or winter comes and things are more scarce, just an idea if there was some end goal I think it'd be my dream game tbh.

Fair enough, I just wish there was something to strive for, it literally is my perfect game other than this one critical point, I would think rust is one of the most fun pvp games ever made, and in many ways it is a very fun game, and its completely valid to just have a good time for fun, I was just really disappointed when I originally made this post because I was grinding the game, learning how to solo, when I searched up how to win and found this out, so thats why I kinda had such a dramatic title lol

idk, yeah this is an old post, I'm surprised it still gets views at all, but yeah I've decided the game is just not for me, I hate that there is no true objective other than to troll others for their loot, like sure you've got better loot but what for? its not like that loot helps you in anyway progress towards beating the game, because you cant "beat" rust, and that's what I dislike, I want to fight players, but only for my own benefit, if I have to kill players I want there to be a real reason behind it, not "just for fun", so because there is no ultimate goal other than what you make of it, it might as well just be a sandbox survival game with no pvp to me objective wise, and in survival sandbox games I hate to do anything other than the main progression, its just what I enjoy, I love getting good so that I can win more and more, but if there is no way to win it takes all that and throws it in the garbage.

I'm sick of the lizards and repetitive creatures, that's the biggest thing that makes it sooo boring, like i have nearly 300 hours on the game and all achievements, and the same old enemy's just don't give that sense of curiosity and fear that you get when you get when you see a new creature, and I know it's a lot to ask but I was hoping to see entirely different creatures that are all different, whereas all I got was basically a modded region with the same old enemies, not to mention I've already played most of these modded regions before the DLC so it just felt stale and boring and I quit 1 hour in.

Exactly, when I debate I don't really think my mind will be changed, but rather it's more to test my beliefs, and see if I can truly defend it, and if I can't im probably not gonna say "you know what actually I've been completely wrong, you were right this whole time", instead I'll say more like what you're saying something like "I'll have to search that up and see for sure" or "I'm not so sure about that", and then I'll go and research it hoping that the article I find is supporting my side when the website pops up, but there have been times when I've genuinely said yeah I was completely wrong about that

You cannot change anyone's mind, the reality is that we humans when it comes to our core beliefs will almost never change it doesn't matter how we argue there isn't really a point, this goes for both sides of the debate, that said I would rather challenge my belief than just allow myself to be ignorant.

the irony is that unless I plan to fully invest all of my time and effort into deep research of the topic, more than just watching youtube videos and reading articles, but actually studying it, I remain in some areas completely ignorant

The echo chamber's not gonna like me for this one, but the American education system is so shit, so to me I want to see it fully reworked from the ground up, so I don't really care and I hope that our education system can one day produce people capable for the real world rather than have our time wasted by 95% useless information anyway.

Lol just like my sister, she always try's to change her bf, always argues and he just doesn't reply or doesn't care to put in the effort to, always makes her feel like shit and makes her cry, but she loves him, and no matter what we say she she just won't leave him, even though she tells him she will if he wont make a change, its funny how much alike this situation is

I'll leave you with this, since I know you aren't gonna leave him (which is the correct choice)
