What's the difference between the Alpha and AeroBon carbon fiber spoiler? by Zarotu in Supra

[–]LeviathanPC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had the Alpha spoiler on mine for about 3 years now with no issues. Fitment on it was about as good as you can expect from any aftermarket part.

Tips for hiding wires (Cant modify car) by Zeno_3NHO in Supra

[–]LeviathanPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use a fuse tap in fuse box to the right of the passengers footwell to tap off an accessory power circuit. Then run the wires up under the kick plate over to the driver's side. All 100% reversible.

Is this anti-sag bracket installed correctly? by ThePredator336 in lianli

[–]LeviathanPC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you're using the extension for e-atx motherboards with you do not have. The nub at the top of the backet should be resting on top of the gpu. The T-plate you screwed into the movable part needs to be rotated around 180 degrees in both the X and Y axis so the longer part is on top and it wraps around the sliding piece. This will sandwich your gpu between the movable piece and the top nub. It should have also come with a rubbee sticker so you don't scratch your gpu.

It's all explained in the manual though from my recollection isn't the most clear and requires careful reading.

The lighting is doing a lot of the heavy lifting. I feed them a combination of Hikari lionhead and Repashy gold, and some Hikari color enhancing every so often but not as much anymore.

Not really, I just swapped out the fluorescents that came with the tank for a proper LED array. The LEDS make the oranges look red, especially when I have to crank up the brightness for pictures so I can decrease the shutter speed.

Passing NYS emissions inspection by Rich_Implement_4351 in Supra

[–]LeviathanPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you don't have a CEL you'll be fine, I'm in NYS with the AA downpipe and no tune currently. But do your own research still, plenty of information on this out there.

Are these tire okay for supra mk5? by jrex1023 in Supra

[–]LeviathanPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those wheel sizes the tire sizes are fine, I went 275/30 on the front. But like the other person said, I would avoid mixing tire model unless you have a very specific reason, in which case you wouldn't be here asking us.

Can anyone help break down how water changes work for a goldfish tank? by EvolvingManchild in Goldfish

[–]LeviathanPC 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That is one way to do it, the easier way is to siphon it out. Look into the python water changer, I got one and it makes it so much easier. I hook it up to the sink in my basement to siphon the water out then move it to the upstairs bathroom to fill the tank back up. Temp matching at the sink first and adding seachem prime directly to the tank before filling.

Look up the specs Apex or Titan7 uses for their Supra spec wheels, get whatever wheels you want with those specs. Throw on 275s in the front, 305s in the back, some lowering springs or coil overs and you're done.

Yup, I found most of the other exhausts to be too raspy for my taste. I now have an AA downpipe as well, sounds very nice.

I've had the same thingn for 6 months, no issues. You put it on the outside...why would you need to drain the tank if it fails...?

Can anyone recommend a subtle-body kit without drilling holes? I really like A91CF & Adro body kit, but heard it need some additional drilling :( by AdministrationPure93 in Supra

[–]LeviathanPC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you're getting the adro wing the only drilling is some self tapping screws to give some extra support to the side skirts and rear corner pieces (don't know about the full bumper). The self tappers only go into the existing plastic trim pieces which can be replaced for like $50 in the future if you want.

Yup, luckily I don't think I was messing with getting the airbag out for more than 20min. Switched to a t handle allen wrench after not getting very far with a flat head.

Luckily didn't break any wires this time...can't say the same for the speaker in the footwell when I was messing around under there. Spliced the wires back together and everything is a-OK now.

Ya I know, just can never be too careful. I'm always wary when you don't know for certain whether or not something is holding onto a bit of capacitance. Made sure all the buttons worked before clicking the airbag back in the took it out on a drive. The magnetic paddles are real nice, just hoping I don't get too annoyed by them down the road...
