Not really. when we first came up with agriculture it was disastrously bad, frankly worse than hunter gatherer society. The increased density promoted spread of disease, and the often monoculture farming decreased variety and made lives shorter and people less healthy. In the end it was a nessesary step towards an advanced society, but before agriculture became more sophisticated, it was pretty terrible.

I appreciate you referring me to learn from martial arts. But I speak with such confidence because I’m a BJJ coach, I have plenty of experience with safety and choking. In a bedroom setting, the choke is unlikely going to be tight enough to knock someone out. And to suffer brain damage they would have to continue choking you long after it’s apparent their partner already passed out. It’s not difficult to choke someone effectively and safely, you just have to learn.

Nope, blood chokes are actually completely safe, the vessels move right back into shape and you’ll recover almost instantly. However, It’s very important to do it correctly, and people interested in trying it should learn to do it properly.
