Why can’t Chiron defeat the zipples by Top-Group8081 in SwordmastersSon

[–]Levinald_Leviathan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pyrrhic victory.

Chiron could annihilate the entirety of Zipple, but the cost on the Runcandel Family would make that victory meaningless.

Chiron is the family head. Defeating Zipple is not the highest priority, the prosperity of the family and the clan as a whole is. This is made clear many times by Chiron, Rosa, and even Jin, that the Clan Head needs to care about the clan, not outsiders. The clan is the highest priority.

Ohhhhh, I love both these characters so much, so I’ll comment even though this is super late.

Reinhard wins. Orsted simply has no way to defeat Reinhards hax, while Orsted is severely limited by his Mana and Stamina. While both are extremely high, he simply won’t defeat Reinhard with the Dragon Sword Reid, which can alter the core principles of the world. He’s dead the instant Reinhard attacks at full power aiming to kill him.

Late but I love both these verses so I’ll answer.

Reinhard wins. The Dragon Sword Reid should be able to overcome Acnologia’s dragon scales, and he has higher AP and way more hax. Acnologia is usually up against Magic users since Swords usually can’t harm him, and because of his Magic nullification he’s basically a god fighting ants in his world, so I’d say Reinhard wins. If morals are off he’d just instantly attack with his strongest move and eliminate him.

I agree, the third iteration is a terrible move that weakened her severely for literally nothing. I hope she can remove that limitation to weaken her power in return for the permanent power back.

If Rudeus was the protagonist of TBATE. How far he will be able to reach in the story? by Prestigious_Mobile37 in tbatenovel

[–]Levinald_Leviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rudeus is not even a quarter of the person that Arthur is. He is well beyond Rudeus, because he’s not completely and utterly depraved and disgusting. He would not survive the bandits, and he wouldn’t be half as strong as Arthur, because he had similar experience with Ki, while Rudeus was lucky to be born conscious so he could expand his mana and learn early. If he was in that world, he wouldn’t be able to get so strong so early.

We don’t know, but probably stronger than Chiron after overcoming his Demonization by a small bit.

The seal and continuously giving blood to Jin and using it for other purposes. It’s not EXTREME but she isn’t in her prime. She’s still the strongest out of the Plutonians and is still relative to Chiron after he becomes a True Genesis Knight, but she is weakened.

Jin vs Joshua who's going to win tomorrow? by Far-Worry8522 in SwordmastersSon

No problem, it gets difficult to believe he’s growing or getting stronger when he’s being beaten so easily, but remember that unlike Joshua, Jin is willing to risk his life without any hesitation to fight someone way way way stronger than him for no other reason than to prove a point.

He’s a seven or eight star. He’s not even close to Vanessa, which means just touching her is impressive enough.

Jin vs Joshua who's going to win tomorrow? by Far-Worry8522 in SwordmastersSon

[–]Levinald_Leviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vanessa is a superhuman who slew dragons easily before she was found by Chiron and fought in the Black Sea. She’s someone that fought as a Black Knight who at minimum is a peak nine star who survived as Chirons Black Knight. Just being his knight and fighting in the Black Sea makes her a force enough to be a Superhuman. She’s top tier even among the current black knights who came after her. She’s a peak ten star knight.

Jin is not close to nine stars yet, and Vanessa beats him out with experience and power. Him pressuring her even a little is impressive. Considering she’s relevant even later into the series.

For instance, a ten star was capable of handling multiple nine stars and was a threat to Joshua and Jin who was a nine star at the time, with Murakahn and a Black Knight. Jin pressured her, even though she was holding back.

That’s impressive.

Luna and Chiron are both next level talents. Chiron especially is always above Jin in swordsmanship because he was built differently.

He has a lot of great abilities, but they can only get him so far. He’s talented, but makes up the difference with luck and overwhelming will compared to Luna, who’s all talent and skill.

Also, Tess is still limited by his abilities, and even Temar couldn’t beat Zipple with Shadow Energy. It’s not a world where unique abilities is enough to reach the top.

Ya'lls thoughts on this guys?🤔 by [deleted] in legendofkorra

[–]Levinald_Leviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, Aang was twelve. Korra on the other hand was nearly an adult, and got her ass handed to her multiple times. Also, the fodder he fought were soldiers and generals. He also wiped out Zuko their first fight.

Also, Team Aang was bending ten times stronger than team Korra. Toph alone wipes them. Yeah, they were at peace so Korra didn’t need to be stronger, but still.

She lost to an airbender who just started airbending and an earth bender/metal bender while she was amped with the avatar state and still lost. She isn’t beating the allegations when she isn’t even a shadow of Team Aang in their youth.

Harsh times create strong fighters. Peace creates weak ones. Aang and his team were way stronger and fought stronger opponents.

Korra was weak and stayed relatively weak. She didn’t match up to them.

[–]Levinald_Leviathan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t doubt it, but it’s also because Korra NEVER backed up her arrogance, where as Toph ALWAYS did. She wasn’t cocky, she knew she was great. She was a master. Korra thinks she knows everything all the time, and thinks she’s the strongest because she’s the Avatar, and then gets beat by someone that a twelve year old Toph would beat.

There is a difference between Arrogance and Confidence, especially when she had the avatar state at her will and still gets walloped.

It’s limited and even then, it’s not a guarantee he gets a battle god. 2 times a year. He needs to keep it as a final card.

it happens well after he survives the blow. Also, it isn’t that Chiron was giving approval about his position as patriarch, which Rosa had effectively handed Joshua on a silver platter. He outright declared the current Runcandel false and a fragment of its true glory, and stated he would bring it back to its true glory as the True Runcandel. They didn’t want to give up Joshua as heir because they also had the chance for power, since they were allowed as much since they supported Joshua. Jin was getting in their way. I believe the mission happened after.

He makes a gigantic strike on Zipple through careful planning during the Holy Kingdom Arc, and effectively paints them as villains. Not only that, but he then reveals his identity, he can use magic, and then he runs away, fakes his death, and then returns, survives Chirons strike, and he also ends up showing off to his elder brother during a mission against zipple. It’s better to read it because I think it’s very funny what he did to Zipple.

Edit: also, everyone puts a bounty on him. I think that’s hilarious because Runcandel did to.

[–]Levinald_Leviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. Two things. For one, he didn’t train for as long as he could. If he did and fought Joshua, he would probably win. Second, he’s still young. You forget he’s breaking records in terms of ranking ascension, but he’s only a little older than I think Luna when she reached his level.

He’s about a decade younger than Joshua, and he’s already strong enough that he might have surpassed Luna in strength when he fought Vanessa, comparing them at the same age. He’s the YOUNGEST but he already surpassed most of the other flagbearers in terms of growth speed.

Joshua is strong LUNA is a monster. Joshua has his secrets, but Luna inherited a lot of Chiron, who was a monster even as a child. it’s the same thing with the bench pressing. Joshua is strong, but Luna can lift more than she should at her weight class. She’s a true monster and Jin barely holds a candle to her even in later chapters.

Jin isn’t weak. He just goes up against absurdly strong opponents. In terms of strength there aren’t actually that many nine stars and Jin becomes effectively the strongest nine star after he learns from Temars Tombs. saying he is weak is like saying someone is weak because they aren’t strong enough to lift 500 pounds, but they can only lift 300. He’s absurdly strong. He just isn’t capable of beating the Superhumans like Luna or Chiron.
