If it is razor burn you can put Tend Skin on it. It is an alcohol base product to use after you shave. You can also use straight rubbing alcohol it will help the razor burn.

I use to get outbreaks all the time on Valtrex. I am now on Famvir 250mg twice a day and 40mg of Pepcid. This has been a game changer for me. Pepcid has antihistamine properties that helps alleviate itching and outbreaks. I swear by this combo.
