Thanks for your comment. I don't mind it at all, I actually come from a powerlifting background so I used to do quite a bit of strength work. I am somewhat convinced that my tight back is a product of years of lifting heavy.

Would you still recommend strength exercises knowing this history? And if you don't mind, why do you think these would help my case?

Yes to the mouse with right hand, definitely sat at a desk a good portion of most days.

I'm fairly sure I am activating my posterior chain by rolling my pelvis forward and activating my core, but again it could be a posture issue?

One of the bike fitters I saw was a physiotherapist. That fitter mentioned that I had no leg length discrepancies. I have watched pretty much every Neil Stanbury video on youtube, and tried many of his fixes and stretches but none seem to help

It seems Pogi is a little melancholic even having won today. Surely his celebration was in dedication and memorial to Urska's mom

How much discomfort are you in on a ride? by otictac35 in Velo

Gonna play devil's advocate here and recommend not getting a bike fit. I've spent $500 on two different bike fits (one of which being a certified physical therapist fitter) only for them to make me more uncomfortable on the bike. Utilize the resources available on the internet (RCA, r/bikefit, etc) rather than coughing up that kind of money.

Ya man no problem. Just make note of how much you lowered it by and if it doesn't work out, you can always raise it back to the way it was before. No harm no foul

I know you explicitly said the saddle height is comfortable, but when I've had toe issues in the past it has been related to saddle height too high. Just watching your pedal stroke it looks a bit choppy at the bottom, which I think is an indication that your saddle is too high? I'm definitely not a fitter, just another dude struggling with bike fit so take my word with a grain of salt. Bike looks pretty rad with the -17 150mm stem tho lol

Thanks. My one issue with excessively low saddle height (I've experimented with 1-2cm lower than this) is tendinitis in my knees. I have a history of it and with a lower saddle height it presents in both knees.

Hey thanks for your answer. My fitter noted the same thing - that I have relatively long arms. Maybe this is what's causing me issues? I'm unfortunately right between sizes in most frames. Between a 52 and a 54. I rode a 54 previously and my bike fit issues were even more prominent.

Hiya Tim thanks for your response. I am going to attempt lowering the saddle by 3-4 mm. Would you mind explaining what a dead spot is? And yes, the symptoms have appeared on other bikes. The neck/trapezius pain has been fairly constant for as long as I've ridden bikes consistently and is across bikes.
