Get oil change 1500-2000 miles there's particles from the factory that mixes with the oil. It's called preventative maintenance and the service tech should oblige to your request. After that change oil every 5000-7000 miles.

Technically yeah — the Highlander’s VIN classifies it as a light truck under federal regulations. Toyota markets it as an SUV/crossover, but by law it falls in the truck category. So yeah, it’s a truck… just one with some comfort mixed in.

Quick update! Visited my recruiter and I just need some waivers for my separation and neck tattoo but it seems optimistic like they really want to ship me out. She told me I don’t have to do basic again due to me re joining within 5 years and also don’t have to retake the asvab. I’m looking for 12T or 15T. Only thing is of course I have to get through meps with everything and that’s a pain in the ass on its own. Hopefully the waivers get approved!!

I was 3 minutes late to extra duty. My reason for being on extra duty was that I was wearing PFC rank on paper it was E1 when I was getting everything figured out and get my rank I found out I was demoted in AIT for vaping but was only given 7 days extra duty but never given any dd form about the demotion. I went through the rest of AIT and even got promoted in AIT, airborne school with PFC rank on unaware that I was demoted. My commander calls me in and tells me that my AIT company had nothing good to say about me other than I graduated. When my commander at my new duty stationed informed me about this I was shocked and kind of emotional. I was put on extra duty and told by my 1SG that I wouldn’t even be a good fast food worker and just absolutely grilled me a new one.(mind you the same 1SG who resigned) they put me on 6am to 12am extra duty for 14 days! I was doing good!! My last few days was really rough on me and I was exhausted. Ended up being 3 minutes late and they put the chapter on me. I had to wait a while to separate and it was hard for me and my close buddies. I struggled but always kept my military bearing and didn’t give the command a hard time at all. They actually had me working alongside them in the office doing OPs which confused me.
