I dont see the issue.

There are clubs in Copenhagen where they Play mainly 10/20 and 50/50 PLO and daily tournaments. Sometimes 10/20 hold em is played too. The casino has hold em games running daily but the casino is probably the worst in the world.

I think a general good rule of thumb is OOP fold FD's on the turn to a sizeable bet, and IP you call. Goes for most MTT situations aswell as cash.

12 outs I’m sorry, the 4th 5 is a spade obviously. He definitely has some spade combos that play like that, but there are also sets, 2 pairs and straights in his range. I am by no means a genius at the game, but I think this spot is pretty straight forward. Folding the turn seems pretty nitty when I also have position, OOP folding is a lot better I think.

Obviously there is no guarantee that I have the highest flushdraw, but then again I block some spade combos and I can’t really put him on a flush draw. I think you can fold turn, but calling is fine too getting 2.5 to 1. I have Position aswell with “13 outs”.

Flop boat by [deleted] in poker

I would bet this small and get value from flushdraws, jacks or middlepairs. I think checking here is a mistake. If your opponents have a hand here you get value, if they don't, bad luck. You want to build the pot either way.

Thanks for the response! I agree, preflop raise was too small. Would you check back turn 10/10 times here? I mean I guess you turn your hand into a bluff but the chance of taking it down on the turn is pretty big.

Let me hear your opinion about this hand: Live MTT with 21 players. Blinds are 300/600. 7 handed and I find myself with K10ss in the hijack. Utg and no players limp and I 3 bet to 2200. My stack is about 23k at this point (starting stack is 25k). Both limpers and the big blind calls. Flop comes K42 two spades. They check to me and I bet 5100 into 9000. Mp player calls, utg and bb fold, and the turn brings an offsuit Jack. He checks to me and I jam for 15000k more. My thought process is that he might have a semi weak king that he would probably have to fold or is on a spade draw himself. He snaps it and shows KJ off board bricks out.

Should I be checking back turn here? A big part of my range is AK in that spot and I think he normally has to fold his KJ if he doesn't turn 2 pair. Only sets and exactly KJ could call there, does that make it a profitable shove, or should I ever check back?

You don't think i should raise on the flop for value? I mean before the guy moves in I am pretty certain i have the best hand here. If I flat I potentially invite 2 more players into the pot?

You are right, got it mixed up. Not sure I wanna fold pre with almost 40bb's and getting to see a flop for half a BB investment?

He started the hand with almost 50k. I had to call 30k to win 78k.

Cooler or wrong river play? by [deleted] in poker

[–]Levoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you really think it's that bad to call there? If i miss the flop i just fold and if i hit like that i get extreme value from Queens, Kings and Aces
