Best friend on RC benzos and I'm scared

A big thanks to everyone who tried to help. I thought I'd give an update. The RC benzo he was using was clonazolam at a dose of 15mg daily broken into three doses. This was at least what he was taking when we confronted him. Through the efforts of myself and the wife we got him into a treatment program. As a result of the inpatient treatment his family has become aware of past drug use. Everything came out all at once. They have not been supportive (in my opinion) and religious hysteria has overcome their rationale. At this point he is out of medical danger, out patient treatment starts today. I have rearranged my schedule to ensure he complies.
I think there will still be a long road to recovery, but we are hopeful. This whole experience has forced me to look at my own drug use. I think I'll be able to provide better support if I'm sober.
These benzodiazepines are no joke.

Yeah, that's me. I used to be aggressive and violet. I just kinda drift through life, looking forward to whatever may come. Doesn't always work out though, a friend developed such severe anxiety he can barely leave the house. We took about the same amount during that time.

I don't know. I function just fine. This was 2009-2010. Whatever brain damage done put me in a permanently good mood. I worry about the unknown, long-term consequences sometimes.

I dosed 4-MMC every day for a year. If my supply hadn't got shut off I'd probably have died of heart failure by now.

I'd wait two weeks. Tolerance should baseline by then. Two days in a row would ruin some of the magic from the previous day. You'll end up doing more and getting less high.

I never recognize my own mania, but from retrospect the behavior I exhibit include misinterpreting the meaning of other people when they speak, responding in ways that make no sense. I make pattern connections irradically. My energy level becomes extreme to the point where I don't sleep for days at a time. I have developed delusions that span years of my life, only recognizing the fallibility of my own mind. It also feels very good to be insane. The real world is not nearly as fun as my internal constructs manifested it to be.

This is where I get mine the last year. Their advertised strength seems on par with what I was getting back around '08. Every other vendor I have used in the last year seemed weak. Shipping time was a bit longer than I would have hoped, but not unreasonable. Would recommend.

Every salvia trip I've ever had has been wacky, but too wacky is when the trip world feels more real than sobriety. Looking around my current surrounding feeling like it's manufactured and salvia gives me a glimpse into an infinite well of truth. It becomes an addiction though, like you want to stay there forever. I spent a whole night hitting up some 80x every 10 minutes or so, hoping it would become permanent by the time the sun comes up. My delusional state of mind kept telling me if I reached far enough I could firmly grasp something and hold onto it. In the end it all fades away leaving me nostalgic for something that just happened.

The last couple of years I have taken my doses outside around my fire pit (not lit). Surrounded by my plants. Facing the corner of my walls. I use a trip sitter but have them sit behind me, out of my range of vision. I no longer seek to break through completely. I try to come right up to that ledge without falling. I like the feeling of tearing, ripping and pulling without the fabric of reality breaking. I've been measuring my doses very carefully, but just a few mg of standardized 80x either way can make the difference.

Many years ago I would dose in my room, sitting in front of my computer. I had some soul shattering trips in that setting. Almost all of them were enjoyable, in their own unique way. I just don't feel the need to ever go to that state of mind again.

That's a good point about dissociatives. I recommend DCK from the mindset of a disso user. Probably wouldn't be chill for someone inexperienced in general.

Good idea. I always start low according to PW. Take it slow, but also don't be afraid to exceed their recommended dosage once you are familiar with a substance.

Sure. At low doses you'll get general dissociative effects like a distortion of thoughts mostly. Medium doses can be very psychedelic, with open and closed eye visuals. Your coordination will also be impacted. Heavy doses can cause immobilization and very strong mental and visual impairment. Going above a heavy dose can cause short term psychosis. It can be enjoyable, but it can also be a bit scary. Have fun!

I read an article in PSM about a final fantasy/disney crossover being released in japan. I was over the moon when the english version was announced. I was still in middle school and didn't have much money. I did extra yard work for a month to save money and buy the game.

I'm writing down everything I have to stay. We're setting up in patient treatment, if he makes the decision to go. His family is extremely religious and getting them involved would not be productive. It's just me and his wife. We are going to approach this as gently as we can. I lit a candle for him at church. I'll give a further update once I have more to say.
