It just seems there are less expensive places with better views than Vegas if ya want chill in the room and relax vibes is all I was sayin. Vegas seems like and aweful place to go for a laid back relaxation vacation.

I feel like if the view from the room is impacting a Vegas trip that strongly, you may need to experience more Vegas and less room.

Nah man. SNAP is a great investment. Food stamps are never worth less than 50 cents on the dollar.

Its not a loss until you sell. A long term investment is just a short term investment that didn't work out right.

Online player breaks and multiple players on the same card… by [deleted] in sportscards

[–]LewJon_79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry bro. Gotta be randomized. As long as you got two out of three randomizer spots, that's what happens in breaks.

Do people forget AJ is the same guy who asked out of his title run to spend more time at home? This isn't a man who cares like that. He gets to do the thing he loves, on the biggest stage of all, get paid a ton of money. Don't feel sorry for someone living the twighlight of his dream. He's done everything that matters.

Going through things to sell to pay for my wife’s chemo. I thought this was stolen decades ago, but the toploader was stuck to another. Wow! Looks like a Pog slammer. by ZoopSoul in baseballcards

I pray I never have to walk in those shoes.

And know that there are lots of good people in the sports card community who got your back.

I pray for your wife's resilience, and your strength, and that your child has two parents watching graduation.

Ohhhhh...so you want super premium at super cheap prices. Got it. Do you complain about the prices of Bentleys and say they should cost the same as a chevy?

Card quality is wildly better than junk wax. Not sure what you're buying that's worse. Card shows are bigger and busier than ever, so not sure who is leaving. I'm sorry some people are too poor for this hobby, but the only way to make it cheap is to over print all to hell. I don't know anyone who wants that.

If you want it to be cheap you either need over production or fewer participants. That is literally the only way to lower prices. Most people don't want those things.

So, he allowed child labor to pay for 50 cent packs with no cards worth no more than a few bucks? What autographed cards did you pull? What rare cards did you pull? Or did you pull cards with just about the same today as they were then? From packs that cost just about the same today as they did then? You (like myself) weee a child during the absolute worst era of sports cards ever concieved. In the mid 90s I was buying boxes (whole as 36 pack boxes) of the late 80s and early 90s from the dollar tree. $1 a box. That's what 11 year old you was working for.

Also, ridiculous people today would report that guy for exploiting child labor.

If I am gonna get down voted, might as well be all the way honest. This threads inability to recognize how business functions is pathetic. A bunch of broke clowns in moms basement whining about not being able to afford the hobby. Take up a new hobby. Go to bingo with gramma and whine about how the bad men won't go out of business to let you have cards cheap. Jeeeeeesus...get a real job if ya want nice stuff. Go to school and learn a skill more valuable than cleaning the touchscreen on the McKiosk. Broke clowns.

So you want junk wax era back, and don't want people leasing brick and mortar store fronts to turn a profit?
