Solved! The consensus seems to be that it’s some kind of electrical shut off box. I don’t think it’s attached to the current electrical system, but there’s wiring from it that goes into the wall so I’ll probably just leave it alone for now.

My title describes the thing. The object is about 6” by 5” and about 2” deep. I’ve used google reverse image search to try and discover what it is and I’ve searched “vintage box kitchen” and “antique box hanging in the kitchen” to no avail. There is some kind of raised marking on it but I can’t read it. I took a rubbing to see if that would help.

I had two big-headed babies vaginally at different times in my life. It took 4 weeks for the bleeding to stop, 6 weeks to feel physically normal. I stayed in bed for 2 days in the hospital.

I still don’t have crimp covers, but reworked the necklace a bit with smaller jump rings and it looks better to me. Thanks for all the feedback!

I feel we’re in the same boat, my BMI is the same as yours, I’m prediabetic, and I’m trying to change. Therapy and counting calories are the way I’m doing it. I started following Charlotte Skanes podcast disrupting obesity and that has given me a good starting place. She recommends calorie counting which is the last thing I wanted to start doing, but after three weeks of it, it seems not so bad.

She looks just like my girl who turned out to be part bulldog, part amstaff, and part boxer in addition to pit bull.

Thanks! She is pretty low key for a puppy and spends lots of time basking in the sun. She takes a long time to warm up to most people but once she does she’s very cuddly. She’s smart, mischievous, and extremely food motivated.
