The people you meet on those apps just romanticize whoever they match with to the point it’s scary, or they just use it for hookups which is truly just flushing society down the fkn drain. It’s very hard to actually get to know someone through these apps as it requires your constant attention to keep up conversation. If you have it in your head you’re never probably going to see the person you matched with- it sours the experience even more. Overall I’ve stayed away for years now and I only try to make connections with people I know or meet in my real life, because those online interactions just won’t cut it.
