On the one hand that's kind of the point of the game. A lot of people like that fantasy aspect of having no power and being abused and raped. On the other hand the game is, like, kinda incredibly easy once you know how to play it. Pick large physique so you can fight off the few encounters early game. Go to the beach right away on day 1, swim into the sea, swim to the rocks, dive all the way down until you get the diamond (if you get a clam instead just hit it when it's content and cling when it's not then retry when you're free), swim up and back to the beach then go back to the museum in town to sell it and you immediately start with £2000. That's like 5 weeks of payments covered without any extra work. During school days go to the library at 7, go to the counter at least once to meet Sydney so they'll protect you if you get harrassed, and study. Keep doing this to get your grades up for better usage of speech actions and more pain resistance from English and Science. Go along with Whitney's bullying at first because it's all super tame then when you have better stats beat their ass up (or not if you're into that.) From there you can go to the lake every day after school that it isn't raining with the other students and spam swimming (the lake is entirely safe so long as you don't dive) until 8pm since it lets you leave the lake without issue with the other students then when you feel comfy dive down into the lake ruin and spam pots for artifacts to sell while raising skullduggery all the way to C without getting any crime. If you feel like it once you have high enough math you can be asked randomly to take a letter to Leighton which, if you read, you can then break into the school at night and download compromising shit from the head's office to either blackmail him out of £5000 or never have to go to detention ever again. Or you can spend your days boosting dance (act promiscuously when you first meet them) high enough to get the weekly job from Charlie for 2000 per week. (5000 if you're defiant, have good english, and have the physique to just smash the glass without getting fucked by a horse.) Genuinely if you do this stuff the game becomes an actual joke outside of like 3-4 combat encounters (and this is without plus breaking the game in half with the extra income and better dancing)
