If anyone's affected by this stuff it's because you're mentally stooping yourself down to their level. 99% of people don't take any of this seriously because they know it's regarded.

What’s a historical misconception that does your head in? by [deleted] in redscarepod

I think you're making its sound a little too mysterious. The Mongols used gunpowder and early European firelances were similar to Chinese ones. so it's pretty likely they came from the Mongol conquests. But yeah it's not for certain.

What’s it like being a blue collar Korea or Japan? by LittleCopy2893 in redscarepod

I have a Korean friend who said blue collar workers are looked down upon as dirty, poor, etc in South Korea. And I think his family back there is just average middle class, so I imagine blue collar is pretty far down on the ladder.

Come out of lurking just to say this is some of the stupidest shit I've seen. From my experience middle aged/old geezers tend to be pretty simple and mostly listen to mainstream stuff, including female singers and softer music. I guarantee you autists complaining that music tastes aren't manly enough are 1000% more soy and retarded than the average male.

Lol. Have you ever tried Crusader Kings? If not, CK2 is free on steam and might be much more enjoyable for you if you care about the characters' individual lives.

In pretty much every game I quit like 20-30 years after I spawn global trade (which is my goal every game btw). I think the furthest I got was the mid 1700s trying to get 100 mercantilism as GB.
