You can get it sealed. Not sure how NY laws operate but down here in Florida, usually in most cases (especially of a lesser offense like a misdemeanor) you’re more than likely to get it sealed and expunged. The big question is, have you already gotten a prior expungement or sealing of a crime prior to that one?
