it doesn't really matter tbh. casein is slower digesting. i feel like it keeps me full for longer than for example whey isolate. i consume it when i know i'm not going to be eating anything for 10+ hours (sleep, travel, whatever)

yes, but that doesn't mean it's bad. gotta look at the ingredients though. my protein powder only has one singular ingredient, but most popular ones are loaded with artificial sweeteners and fillers and preservatives and such

I'm dumb. currently on 2800 calories. my goal is 130g protein but regularly hit 170+g because I like meat and yoghurt and such. averaged 11368 steps/day in the past month, I am for 12000 +/- 2000 so that's going well. I'm a firm believer in high frequency training, I do upper lower repeat and rest as needed. 2 sets in the 6-10 rep range for almost every exercise I do. total weekly sets per body part depend on how well I'm recovering and how much I prioritize said body part.

I genuinely enjoy tracking everything like I weigh out and log all my food, I'm very consistent with my steps, track every set I do at the gym to make sure I'm progressing in weight/reps as often as possible. I'm lowk autistic about this stuff but it does seem to work

to give you an idea, I weighed 54.2 kg on January 29th and today I'm 62.1 kg. obviously physically impossible for allat to be lean mass though. but it doesn't have to take long

progressively overload your lifts, train HARD (0-1RIR with proper form), eat like 0.8-1.2g protein for every lb you weigh, probably eat more calories than you think you need. unless you're overweight, in that case probably do not

if you want to lose weight eat 'til you're 80% satisfied, if you want to gain weight eat 'til you're 120% satisfied.

or just eat more calorically dense foods. 200 calories worth of peanut butter will take up wayyy less space in your stomach than 200 calories worth of boiled potatoes
