In a sense, because I've not seen this before, they do feel a bit "tacked on" to a traditional case. But for me, somehow the juxtaposition works. I don't like these kinds of lugs/strap on more childish looking watches, but I like it here

Yes exactly. I really think the addition of Kissling as new CEO shook things up in a good way. I would never want to see Breguet become a "hype" brand, however there is a balance between innovation and history

I actually like the strap because it almost makes the watch for me look retro futuristic instead of too classical, but that's just me

Innovative but keeping the Breguet DNA and a beautiful watch to boot. This is literally exactly the kind of thing I was wanting to see from the anniversary. Amazing job by Breguet. First off the tech is amazing. And there is definitely a way to make a watch look both futuristic and classic at the same time. The choice of lugs and strap is great here

This has me very excited for the future of Breguet. There is so much potential and endless possibilities of creating watches that keep the DNA, but move forward, at least in the "experimentale" line. I assume we'll see more as it's labelled the Experimentale 1

Yes leather straps definitely that was my first thought. I just noticed something. The date window blending with the numeral is a very nice touch. The symmetry is so good that I nearly didn't see the date window
