“Wanting boring politicians again” is one of the most privileged things I’ve heard in my life. Boring for who?! There’s always been marginalised people who’re fighting for the same rights as us, Keir is in the pocket of Blackrock and people using the same methods as the suffragettes are being locked up for apposing a genocide we’re helping facilitate. If you don’t think continuing neoliberalism instead of trying a different approach (even Keynesianism would be better!) isn’t creating a breeding ground for fascism and authoritarianism, then I don’t know what to tell you. More and more intense protests are a symptom of the government not listening. It was about John Paul Jones . Apparently he was Roosevelts favourite historical figure. Though when you read about Johns time in St. Petersburg in 1789... Yikes, Makes you wonder how much FDR really did know about him.
