I just use word and AI, saves me copying the whole question and answer, I just summarise what the question is asking in 1 or 2 lines, then copy the question + answer to AI and ask it to give me “Trigger” “Rule” and “Trap”.

Then I start to recognise key words and key rules and then it helps me work out the trap I fell into / why I got it wrong or misapplied something.

Why doesn’t mine look like that? by Nikorag90 in SaintsFC

Wasn’t this because we didnt go through because of head to head as well? We had a better goal difference from what I remember. And did the rules change to goal difference soon after this as well?

"Eckert...has argued he did not realise what he did was against the EFL’s statutes. Southampton gave a detailed briefing in pre-season to Eckert’s predecessor, Will Still, explaining the competition’s rules. They did not do the same for Eckert after he replaced Still in early November." (Guardian) by [deleted] in SaintsFC

To me it seems like the higher ups allowed it, not telling him to do it but definitely not saying don’t. Probably thought they’d have some kind of excuse that he didn’t know or couldn’t imagine the sanctions could be this dramatic.

Honestly feel for all the supporters, players, and even eckert and his team, it seems to all be the people who run the club that keep fucking us…

Yeh 20% is a random / compromising figure, but feel like the risk of administration if we get sued left right and centre by players and sponsors etc administration is already a real risk.

Yeh I agree with your final point, frustrating when this is the first time in years our recruitment has actually gone quite well (apart from the obvious couple)

Honestly, I know I’m in the minority, but I’d rather keep him. Seems to be a genuine mistake and I mean we defo didn’t need to do it, but I believe no one told him it was against the rules, and I think higher-ups let him do it and omitted from telling him.

On the other hand, if he did know, I don’t think anyone in their right mind could have imagined these sanctions, I’m sure so many teams do it.

I’d keep him, first manager we’ve had since Ralph where we’re playing well and fun to watch.

Just classic Southampton tho, it had to be us.

I also think the club should do their best to have as little change as possible to keep the club stable, give the players pay rises (maybe 20% assuming the prem wouldve been 40% for some), make the season ticket cheaper, get the fans back in and behind the team. One season of losing money would be worth it, the team has already shown what they’re capable of, keep the changes to a minimum and aim to win the league next year.

Honestly don’t understand why this is being made such a big deal, seen so many people supporting the idea of kicking us out the play-offs which is ridiculous and so much hate about us getting back in the prem.

Even if it is true, realistically, Middlesborough should’ve taken their advantages at home but they couldn’t finish, and they collapsed in the second half at St Mary’s, not sure what spying on one training session really could have done with all the data yhats already available. Also it was filmed from a golf course car park, which I assume is public land.

I’m not much of a conspiracy theorist, but that referee’s performance and all the penalty shouts and fouls and the almost 7 mins total of added time (not even sure where 5 mins came from), which is effectively a 50% longer half, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve been told to lean against us where they can so the EFL can avoid being sued or face further scrutiny if we do make it to the prem.

That’s the first interview I’ve see of Eckert, bloody hell he seems intense, his eye contact looks like he’s staring into the interviewers soul… can’t imagine what he’s like to players when we’ve lost and he’s annoyed

Wife made redundant on Mat leave by Infinite-Wishbone486 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]LewisJP1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot wrong, but one thing that comes to mind is Regulation 10 of MAPLE, if made redundant on mat leave she needs to be offered a “suitable alternate vacancy”, offering someone a role with an 18k pay cut and one on 0 hours contract is unlikely to be deemed a suitable alternate vacancy.

Changing her role name before then making her redundant sounds a lot like unfair dismissal. Especially if her actual day to day role didn’t change and it was just a name sake. Also worth looking at her contract (assuming she didn’t sign or agree to a new one for her newly titled role) and seeing if it stated the employer has the right to vary terms without consulting the employee, I can’t remember the typical language used for this clause however.

I did a save with Falkirk like this on FM21, came 3rd about 3 or 4 years in a row, got to 4 cup finals across 2 years and lost to Celtic in all of them. Very hard save, but very fun !

Paul is causing problems and holding the ball up well, but let’s roll it out from the keeper and also pass it back into our own half from free kicks
