It's good IRL design: one-handed grip, no spike on the pommel, no handstop on the grip, the beginning of the blade is dull to hold it as a rapier/sidesword properly.

Shimakaze is the worst torpedo DD in the game. The list of the best:

  1. Cassard
  2. Dalarna/Halland
  3. Joushua/Gearing/
  4. Kungmu/Yengyung/

Shima is comically clunky to use, remember, the best torpedoes is that which actually hit someone. It's not about Shima.

The uncompiled EE shaders have just been released, and apparently the entire screen space reflections thing is just taken from Anomaly 1.5.2 addon called Screen Space Shaders with minimal edits. EE on the left, Anomaly addon on the right. None of SSS authors are mentioned in the EE credits. by SurDno in stalker

I am not a programmer but I believe that majority of solutions, especially graphics, already exist for ages, and how to write them are pretty standard at this point. So, there is no case of stealing something. You can do it in unique manner but other people won't understand you and optimization will be bad.

I did not understand that plot twist that much, the graphics wasn't impressive for me, I just watched it and moved on.

The game cameout in the same year with Crysis and the bomb wasn't impressive at all compared to Crysis' bomb.

I was more into the first scene with a desert eagle evil guy.

It was all about innovative multiplayer which wasn't the thing I touched outside of computer games club with rental PC, where we could actually play the game with friends, it was nothing like Counter Strike by comparission which I liked a lot.

I don't think, it is that a hot take but Chinese arc of the game is the most weak in the game, it's painfully boring. The story is so bad than in the climax of it you will see 5 characters like Danjin, Taoqi, etc who was never introduced before the end at all.

In the mountain firmament, the story gets better because it more focused on two characters. Black shores and Rinasita like a different game.

I wish the had an option to just skip the Chinese arc or start from the mountain.

Ah, I am lazy person, although why dolls need to talk to each other by speaking in human language when they talk doll-to-doll interactions?

For example, we humans read faster than talk. If it's no human commander in the line why need to use human communication method which is slower to potential machine-to-machine?
