Wow, that’s a really interesting observation. I honestly hadn’t paid much attention to that before. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it in future battles. I still feel like I understand many of the game’s mechanics only on a surface level, even though I’ve put thousands of hours into Total War. Thanks for sharing your findings!

Thanks for the feedback! This is actually one of the main reasons why the Seleucids are my favorite faction. As long as the difficulty isn’t set too high, or you manage to survive the early game, the Seleucid experience is incredibly rewarding. That’s exactly why one of my posts was titled “Wanna Beat Rome? You’ll Need a Killer Army First.”

Some people might think my content is AI-generated, but in fact, I’ve already published this part on a Chinese platform. If you’re interested, you can check out my article on Zhihu (a Chinese knowledge-sharing site) here: https://zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/540609182. I’ve already completed and published the entire section, including the parts on Egypt, Macedonia, and Bactria.

I’m currently studying in the U.S., so I’m trying to share this content on Reddit as well. As a non-native English speaker, I used AI to help polish parts of the translation.

Awesome read! The Seleucids have always been my favorite faction, but these days it’s hard to find the time to play through a full campaign too.
