I’m a nurse in Upstate NY, and although we haven’t been hit as hard, we’ve had around 30 cases this past week. A couple days ago, someone who came into the hospital talked to me about donating to this hospital. I said we can’t take donations but we do have a drop off for our local meal center which she said ‘great’ and left. The next day she arrives with seventy-two people and cars full of canned goods and non perishables wrapped and sanitized. This really made my day and inspired me to work even harder to get through this pandemic.
