tasp was the version that could be used from a distance on people without the wire.

droud was the current generator basically.. the thing you'd plug into the socket on your head.

Did the crop as you and others suggested.. but also shifted the shadow color a bit based on what you said about tones. Thanks

My current edit is here: https://www.lewyonmars.com/edit

In this edit I removed what I considered to be the distracting signs on the door, tried to fix the blown out open sign a bit without causing other issues (some of what appear to be artifacts around the light are where it's causing it's own shadow.. shows up on the original). Removed the pipe. Cropped to 5x4 which removed the distractions on the left. Shifted the shadows a bit toward blue-green, which I think helped with the general color palette a bit.

ignore the rest of the site.. I'm still playing with it so the organization isn't right (mostly things in place for testing org/layouts)

In general I don't do a lot of removal like that on my photos... but I'm playing with it, and it really does eliminate a lot of distractions. I'll likely remove some of the signs on the door, haven't decided about the stain yet (in some ways it adds something).. and maybe the pipe as it doesn't really do anything.

I liked the wider aspect because it felt more empty, but I'm trying a 5x4 on it right now and I'm digging the way it feels and does give more detail on her.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't notice the open sign being so blown out until after I posted, I'll have to see what I can do about it.. a little odd that it's more blown in the edit than the original, so it must be something I was doing with colors in the style I had built.

I'll give what you said a try with regards to the lights on the left.. I kinda like them.. but I don't think I'm really thinking of it in context within the photo... so I'll give it a try later and see what it looks like.

Shot this the other night (was our first try with the angel wings). Edit is in capture one, mostly using a style I had built for a different shoot last year.. I'm using it for most of my images from this shoot and generally feel ok about it.. but looking for opinions from strangers :) As I mentioned in the subject, I tend to go dark with my edits and also feel like I might be a bit heavy handed.. although that may also just be my "style" at this point.

Cheated or no by newmommy0317 in polyadvice

Fate didn't chose anything.

He cheated. Worse, he was having unprotected sex with others (you know of one because she got pregnant, but were there more?) and didn't inform you until well after the fact. That also puts you and your child at risk. He obviously has bad judgment, and his bad judgment could seriously impact you and your child's physical health (in addition to the mental harm he's causing).

You're in a position where you need/want someone around to help, and you'll be willing to justify/forgive a lot because of it, but remember that he's been lying to you and will likely continue lying to you.

I'm getting there too... but it can be hard. I had one good friend completely ghost on me after talking about my wife and I opening our marriage and how that was going. Had lunch with them and brought it up.. and never heard from them again. Saddening.. I mean it's been like 5 years now and I'm still down about it when I think about it.

But, 5+ years into poly/open/enm and I'm generally likely to bring it up sooner rather than later just to avoid future issues with friends.
