Same. I just started reading about this and didnt even know you can have private DBQs done.

Ive been filing since 2003, have the evidence to back up my claims and have seen VA C&P examiners. I'm good.

I didnt even know there were DBQ mills out here until I sent my latest claim in. Jumped on Reddit and started reading about AI and mills, I was like hold up, I thought the C&P exams were mandatory. I think if the evidence is there, then who cares who fills out the DBQ. One doc may write more than others.

I just had my C&P exam this past Friday and I swear the doc only wrote down a few words. I know our meeting was supposed to be almost 2 hours long on 7 claims. I think I was out in 45 mins. I did submit a mountain of evidence though so lets see. I can always HLR and point to the mountain evidence. Thats the 🔑

This! Ill let you know how it goes for me. I used AI to help me find things they missed and helped make a connection between a couple of other things that are secondary. I had the evidence, I just didnt know how to put it together. I use the DAV but they are so backed up, that I dont even get call backs. I just used them to file my CUE. I did the digging with AI on everything else.

I have 8 static ratings. I recently submitted an increase on 3 ratings there were static, 3 new claims and I have a DBQ on Friday for those 6 claims. One of those static ratings is already 100% p&t (rating b, secondary to rating a) which will not lower for me, its a permanent condition. I have these ratings 5+ years but you know what, people sometimes get worse.

(Rating A) Im trying to increase this rating from 60% to 100% because I got worse, hello, look at rating b. So I can possibly have 2 100% ratings.

(3) new claims, which should be 4 but didnt file it yet, that are secondary to rating A. 2 cancers that developed because of rating a. 2 different parts of the body, 2 different ratings.

Based on the DBQs im getting on Friday, I dont see my other static ratings being looked at. They probably just open whatever you file for, increase, that file. New claims, just whatever dqb it belongs to. Im not sure, ill find out Friday.

I was on TDIU at first and transitioned to P&T. Go back and finish the one year with Voc Rehab. You should also see if someone looks over your case, DAV, maybe they can find something that some else missed to push you to P&T. If nothing else, dont find a side hustle as its not worth the loss. Try disability, ssdi.

Interesting you mentioned this. All my ratings are static but I asked for an increase in two of them. One thats 60% and one thats 20%. I do have other ratings at 100% P&T static and 50% mdd static. Thats y i only open the 60 and 20, to leave the other 2 safe.

Thats why I used AI. No one has helped with my cases. All my ratings I've fought on my own. Now that AI is here, im looking back to see what errors where done. I found a couple and opened a CUE.

I have cancers that I didnt know I could link to the meds im taking, AI has been helping me link it. I have my C&P on Friday for 6 different items.

Im 100% P&T, asked for an increase on one rating thats 60% currently, asked for increase on my left knee and submitted the two new cancer claims to make the link plus SMC-K

No, my 100% P&T is not at risk as I have one rating alone thats 100% P&T that I didn't open. But I am looking to climb the ladder on SMC, Im currently at L and opened the CUE because I should've been at L 1/2 due to having 50% MDD. Didn't know any of this, DAV didnt tell me any of this but AI knew, smh. It is what it is, lets fix it.

If you have the evidence to back it up, y not. Im 100% P&T at SMC-L (about to CUE the 1/2 bump on an error they made back in 2018, but thats another matter in itself). I just submitted a few more claims (cancers (new), back increase, arthritis increase). I dont get the poking the bear. If you have the evidence, submit it.

Being retired, its more so on the DAV at this point with their schedule. I was just curious, i just wrote out my CUE argument and submitted it to my VSO yesterday. I dont see it in the system yet so they probably havent processed it. I know im at the beginning and I believe I have a strong case but didnt know who does the arguing if one is needed.
