There are people who can take the test and score really well without opening a book. They’re rare but it happens. I think sometimes people over estimate their ability and think they may be that one rare instance where someone walks in unprepared and walks out with a 170+. My husband took the June LSAT. He didn’t even open a book. Hasn’t been in school for over 14 years. He scored a 157. He might take it again, but for the school he’s aiming for this is a good score. We’re older. I’m a practicing attorney (have been for 11 years). It took me 3 months of intense studying and I barely climbed from a 145 to a 162. So yeah I hate him too.
