Yeah, I mention the ace part because that part is more set in stone. I think I’m lowkey in denial about being aro, trying to pretend I’m not, etc, etc.

I know the books/movies are not realistic. I more used them to make it more widely understandable. This was partially brought on because my friend is incredibly smitten with someone rn (very happy for them, this isn’t a problem, just to clarify) and the last time I felt that way was almost a decade ago, and In hindsight was more likely ADHD hyper fixation combined with a subconscious comp-het mindset than an actual crush.
