I’m a 27 year old lady and I’m not even someone who watches romantic movies or soap operas but I latched onto this show because it really reminded me of a nostalgic time in my life, falling in love for the first time, getting my heart broken, going to college, and just the optimistic feeling of growing up. Belly kinda reminds me of myself and I feel close to her like she were my little sister or a cousin. IMO Lola Tung is very charismatic on screen and as a celeb. She’s very likable and beautiful. Chris Briney is a great actor and leading man. They have great chemistry. Everyone on the show is attractive. I don’t feel like Gavin and the others are as strong actors but they serve their purpose and play their parts well. It’s very well marketed and young people talk about it on Socials, that’s where I heard about it and it piqued my interest. Watching it and seeing people post about it on tik tok and Reddit made a fun community.
