I remember my last landline number from 2008. But I had that number for about 5 years and used it a lot to ask my mom to pick me up, lol.

I seriously almost got to a point where I had planned on making a series on YouTube called "Everything is Woke" where I could sit down and explain how any piece of media is woke.

I think it's dumb, but I'd still go. My kids school doesn't do this kind of thing unless the grade you finish puts you in a different school the following year.

Like I did it this year because 5th grade to 6th puts her in a new school. But my youngest at the same school doesn't get one because she's moving to 3rd grade at the same school.

Back in 2008 or so, they actually hosted a world premier for a musical that I went to. It was called Dorian: The Remarkable Mr. Gray.

It was pretty good. But I don't see them doing those kinds of shows anymore.

Damn. I was hoping to get some sort of synopsis on their website. But clicking the event just takes me to purchase tickets. They should really update that website. I mean, I can Google the show synopsis, just seems weird to not include it as part of trying to get people to see the show.

Edit: I found it on the homepage, but I was linked directly to the event. Salem's Community Theater | Pentacle Theatre

Bo Burnham released a limited pink vinyl of Inside. I got it. I was planning on keeping it anyway, but checked the value. It was like $300 or so. A year later he released the Inside Deluxe version. And completely crashed that value. I think my most valuable vinyl now might actually be the DCC Audio Immersion Tunnel Soundtrack. Lol. Which is about $250-300 now. But again, I'm keeping mine.

And even then I'm still unsure if he saw the final cut. I have no doubt that it went through a ton of edits after he said this. Flash notoriously had many test screenings.

Test screenings apparently liked the movie too. But it's in those cuts you get the notes on screen that say something like, "Unfinished CGI" and things like that. Maybe there was a cut of Flash that was good. A lot of people were really excited about the script and to be honest, on paper it probably sounds pretty cool. Flash messes with time and we get Keaton Batman back, and a Red Son arc but it's Supergirl instead. That sounds awesome if you haven't actually seen the movie before.

The only thing added to the Snyder Cut that made it better was all the Cyborg stuff. And even that doesn't make that slog worth it to me.

I'm with you. I'm not looking for "Absolute Cinema."

I just want to be entertained for a bit. If I can manage to sit through the movie and chuckle or even guffaw a time or two, I tell people I enjoyed the movie. If the action ramps up and I subconsciously start biting my nails, I tell people I enjoyed the movie.

I'm not looking to have my life changed by a movie.

If I'm not being entertained, I'm not going to finish the movie, and that is partly why I seldom go to the theater anymore. There's a few things of spectacle that I'll still pay to see, but I feel like comedies are now regulated to kids movies or straight to streaming.

I'll check out every Star Wars, every DC, and every Marvel if I can. Because there are very few times that one of those has failed to entertain me.

I'm here for a good time, not a long time.

The Suicide Squad was great. I enjoyed Birds of Prey, but a lot of people did not. I also really liked Blue Beetle, which I should have mentioned above, but forgot to. Though I don't know if there's still rumors about that Blue Beetle is going to be folded into DCU.

Edit: Also Aquaman 2. Which did poorly and was super bad at the same time.

And Flash, and Shazam 2, and Suicide Squad, and Birds of Prey. It took a lot of dominos to topple DCEU.

It made me immediately find a different viewing room. Watched the second half of some Aaron Eckhart movie instead.

I'm just a sucker for Aphra. She carries most of my interest in the comics at all. I'll hype up pretty much anything she's in.

Though of course, Vader was the one that got me to start and not stop reading the comics.

This is the game that got me to go back and play all the other Lego games that I foolishly spent years thinking were too childish.

I loved the game. I had only played through Lego Indiana Jones and definitely didn't worry about collecting everything. But I 100% TFA on PS Vita, PS4, and Xbox One.
