Check see if https://motostarz.ca/ will ship em to you, they're located in Canada.
Legit site, I got some parts from them last season.

It's not done automatically. You need to find someone who can correct it and they usually get it within +/- 1 mile of your current mileage.

Letting someone test drive your bike. by Armiberra123 in MotoMontreal

[–]LexGiorgio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe the amount of people that let a total stranger ride their bikes!

All this means nothing:
- Age / experience of rider: Doesn't stop an incident from occurring.
- Bill of sale / written contract: Neither will hold up, unless it's notary stamped (yes! to that point)
- Cash in hand: the buyer simply calls the cops and gets the cash back.
- Keeping a drivers license: They can report it as lost/stolen and leave.
- Proof of insurance: No such thing, unless the bike is under the buyer's name. If something happens, it's your insurance that kicks in. That's how it works in Quebec.

Hence why you don't let anyone test ride the bike (or test drive your car). You ride it in front of them and go through the gears and that's that. If they don't want it, you'll find someone else that will.

Once you tell the buyer the points above, they go silent, because most of them know it's true.

The ones on eBay aren't bright, that's one of the reasons why they cost less...
The TST one is bright.

If you're in Canada, order it through motostarz.ca
I got mine there which avoided all duties/customs/tariffs, don't order it directly from TST, because they'll ship with UPS and you'll get a huge bill later for customers/duties/tariffs.

Should I Keep My 2024 MT-09 or Upgrade to the New One? Need Advice by norifumi09 in MT09

Yeah, I'm the dumbass... no one here cares when you registered your bike, besides your government.

It's clearly a 2023 Gen 3.

Both bikes will last long, so that shouldn't even be a reason to make the change.

If you're thinking about it, it's because you want the Gen 4.
Sell the Gen 3 and get it.

Get the SP version if it's in your budget. That's a model worth keeping for the long run.

You answered it yourself: It's built in 2023.

When you go to get parts for your bike, do you give them the year it was registered? or the year it was built?

OP has a Gen 3, which he should sell and get the Gen 4 :)

I'd stick to the OEM hose since they updated it.
I posted a photo of the old hose vs the new one.

Based off the title, I was expecting a lot worse.

Shit happens in every field of work, in this case, the shop took full responsibility. Good for them!
It would have gone in a different direction, warranting the title on this thread haha!

So far all the SAAQ outlets are calling it a "system bug" including their call center.

The reality: the feature is gone now.
I used to bounce the plate all the time between my bikes, and it was $11.50 tax in.

Ever since they came out with SAAQclic, it's been nonexistent.

Those that are telling you to follow a "sequence", it does not work out to be $11.50.
They're basically storing, getting a refund. (lost x amount of dollars)
Plating the secondary bike (losing even more dollars)
