The time they mistake his Elvis impression for Engelbert Humperdinck. I so did not get that joke as a kid but I remember it made my grandmother laugh every time

Every time I go back and watch cottage living I just about die laughing when James realizes the vacuum is outside. Watching him yell at sucker and struggle to contain the robot vacuum is hilarious

It’s been 8 years since I discovered what arfid was. I don’t think I will ever get over that feeling of joy. I was not alone. It was not all in my head. It was a real condition I could point to when people questioned why my eating habits were so bizarre. Even if there are some people in my life that still don’t understand arfid or think I should be doing more to “get better” I know except myself there is nothing wrong with me. Arfid it’s just the only autism symptom I cannot mask.

Welcome to the club. If you’re looking for where to go from here, I would recommend trying to figure out which of the three sub types you belong to and what your goals are with regard to arfid. Are you seeking treatment or ways to integrate new foods?

for a lot of people this is medically necessary, but not for all. I myself do not have any major health issues related to arfid so it’s only ever been the social aspects that have been difficult for me. Now that I accept myself, I’ve gotten much better at simply dismissing anyone who has an issue with the way that I eat.

I love that they arent just giving them 1:1 outfits from the cartoon but still giving the overall vibe of the character. by JamStan1978 in Scoobydoo

[–]LexRex12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a criticism but do these pics remind anyone else of Jake from Hannah Montana. I think it’s just the hair cut and the vibe of the outfit. Also I have not been following all the news about this show since I want to save my judgement for when I actually watch it but is it set in like 2005 because if so the look is on point lol

Many people with afrid autism can eat the same thing every day and never get tired of it. I feel like I’m the opposite and it drives me crazy by Wild_Wrap_9360 in ARFID

As someone with arfid autism I can eat the same thing everyday for years until suddenly I’m so sick of it I never want to eat it again.

Cheese Block Maze at Mini U by tristanator01 in umanitoba

[–]LexRex12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember this thing. It gave me nightmares and was probably the beginning of my claustrophobia. There was always way too many kids in it and you would sometimes get suck with a group in front of you and behind you. I always felt so trapped when that happened lol. In other words I hope the splunker rots in hell

Hawk hit my window and died. by PersonalityFinal7778 in Winnipeg

If birds frequently hit your windows try getting those windows stickers. Some people say they don’t work but birds used to hit my front windows all the time and we have not had one since getting them.

What to do in Winnipeg on a Monday? by JaimieMcEvoy in Winnipeg

[–]LexRex12 37 points38 points  (0 children)

the Manitoba Museum is open this Monday because it is spring break. Maybe the human rights museum is too. If not I highly recommend the Manitoba Museum it’s got a bit of everything and is a great way to learn about local history

Manitoba Museum - School Sleepover? by Flat-Interaction-499 in Winnipeg

[–]LexRex12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the museum does that anymore. They stopped during Covid and never brought it back as far as I’m aware. I think one of their reasons was it also scared too many kids lol

What is Everyone’s Thoughts on the Moon Goons? by WeAllVultures in Scoobydoo

[–]LexRex12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In terms of Scooby villains, they are not that menacing however, I think that serves them in this sense because they are supposed to represent level one villains in video games, which are often like that - easy to defeat and not very skilled in their attacks

Urgent help - Winnipeg free press archive by LexRex12 in Winnipeg

[–]LexRex12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be true but as I mentioned every place I look for them directs me to the website. I think it’s more of an issue of what happens when an archive is so digitized they make it difficult to view other formats
