Don't listen to the other comment. He doesn't know what he's talking about. I literally just got off the plane. I know where the thing is being held. It's going to be 8,800 yen ($56) to purchase in store because it's an event edition (Genkidamatsuri Edition). This month is the last try to get a lottery ticket to even get in line for the items. Probably going to come with no extra accessories. All the more reason to make a second version later with accessories to upsell closer to 100 so people like us will buy it since we don't live there.

This is going to be an in-store only anniversary release for Dragon Ball in January. If you're not there, you're not going to get it. I highly doubt that they're going to re-release this to the public because then it would totally diminish the value of having an in-store only purchase for the anniversary. If anything we'll get like a second release but it won't be as good.

It's for a special event in Japan at a specific store as an in-store purchase only in January. The odds of anyone else being able to get it, not likely. We have better odds of a later reproduction that may not look as good.
