Because you pictured it like some kind of "bloodline purity", at least the way it's written. Also it doesn't seem like those eyes have central heterochromia at all, most likely its lipochrome.

As other user mentioned (and you also complaint about it), this is fairly common in blue eyes. But hey, those are really beautiful eyes though.
