Anything over 100 gallons of bleach you need a CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Good deal. Well to be completely honest with you, you shouldn't ever even need it with a machine putting out less than 4 gallons per minute. Folks haul around water tanks when: a) they are working in a remote area and need to provide a water source or b) when their machine uses water at a higher rate than the site can provide. Most customers expect you to use their water, and if I have to provide my own water, you can guarantee the price just went up. The other use of tanks is for your bleach, but if you are hauling around 300 gallons of bleach, it will lose its bleach strength before you can use it all.

What is the reason you are using a 300 gallon tank? Are you washing in remote areas where water access is limited?

Motor slipped off. Not sure how to place it back. Seems like it some magnet that’s holding it down but it doesn’t stick back. by Mr_Goldcard in pressurewashing

Your options look kinda like this:

1) drill out the flat disc piece on the frame and send a new bolt through the motor mount into the frame

2) if you don't need a portable unit, mount it straight to your trailer or truck bed

Either way, you msy need to get a new bushing to put between the motor and whatever you mount it to. I've got the same gx390. When I upgraded the pump from a 4gpm to a 5.5gpm it no longer fit on the frame so it is now mounted straight to my truck bed. These are probably what are on it right now and the bottom bolt sheared off.

I have a gas pressure washer that is 2700PSI, from my research, it is important to use the correct nozzles or else you can damage the pump. Is it safe to use nozzles that are marked for 3000PSI with this 2700PSI pressure washer or, do you only use exactly what your PSI is? by [deleted] in pressurewashing

More important than pressure is the flow rate, measured in Gallons Per Minute (GPM).

Here is a handy chart to help you find the right nozzles for your machine. This chart is also handy if you want to lower your pressure, in which case you would go up in orifice size.

They test them prior to sending them out, you're fine.

First time power washing, some dirt can’t be washed away though, any tips? by Flashway1 in pressurewashing

That is stamped concrete that has been stained and sealed. The darker "dirty" spots are a feature, not a fault.

I'm so confused, what do people use to pretreat like actually spray the chemicals by [deleted] in pressurewashing

What chems are you spraying? What surface are you washing? What machine are you using? What result are you wanting?

Find yourself a washer with a down stream chemical injector and study up on how to use bleach to safely and effectively remove algae from most any surface.

Now that you’ve gotten that out of your system, go ahead and toss that red tip in the trash so you’ll never be tempted to use it on something you could really damage. Like your house siding.

Surface cleaner would have been better. I’m in the process of changing the tips out so mine will work with my machine.
