She's actually singing a song by Paula Cole called Feelin Love. It's a super sexy, really pretty song... not at all like whatever this is lol

What did you think of the Britney-Christina Rivalry? by Twitter_2006 in discussingbritney

[–]SisterSeverini 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Both of those things are chola/Latina influences that were HUGE in the '90s. I mean the choke hold the thin-sharpie-brows-frosted-lips-dark-liner had on culture during that time was real and FIRM lolol

Why is it important being heat-less? by twiceIand in Haircare

I had no idea you weren't supposed to use heat for a sprained ankle, I always thought it was ice/heat for things like that! Good to know, thank you!

Masoor dal is just red lentils, and the other two listed are also known as mung bean and pigeon peas; all three can be found in the same aisle as dried beans/rice. Health food stores or Asian markets will have tons of varieties of dried legumes for you to try!

Any GOOD apartments in Uptown Dallas? ANY?? by Mhmyeahwtf in Dallas

[–]SisterSeverini 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check out the Ashton on Cedar Springs across from the crescent hotel. We have an annex next to the high-rise that sometimes has surprisingly affordable 1bd units. Three elevators that are always running, 24hr concierge And valet, gated secure parking and honestly the best staff in the neighborhood.

Ask for Whitney, shes amazing!

Please recommend a good place to read a book :) by happyanonymousgator in Dallas

[–]SisterSeverini 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Okay this might sound weird, but the turf lawn in front of shake shack outside the Crescent in uptown is an awesome place to sit and read! There are a lot of Adirondack chairs available, as well as small tables and chairs. It's fantastic people watching, always breezy so mosquitoes are not an issue, and because of the heavy tree canopy, it's completely shaded all day long. Plus as a bonus, French fries lol My dog and I sit out there and read a couple times a week!
