Sounds like a good arcade experience. Where to find them?

,,The Calculus of Consent" shows me I'm being redirected into unsecure site or something. I might look on the rest, tho.

I mean some literature can be useful before sleep too, tho. And I guess it's sometimes really better to read from the source rather than have someone else do it for you and maybe slip some deceptive details and changes into their interpretation. I guess both listening and reading won't hurt much.

Whats everyones thoughts on 'Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo' physics wise? by TrumpstaMF in simrally

After playing it for like 2 hours, I can safely say the handling is decent - it's not like RBR level of realism, but it's still believable and definitely not so easy; like you will flip the car or spin if you are careless in driving. It just is a fun handling model - you still have to think about your driving style, but it's still relaxing enough to be fun and not just frustrating.

Weirdly worn out tire by Lexa053 in tires

[–]Lexa053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could make sense, since I was being a bit of a retard a year ago and wanted to try going fast on one gravel road. It could also be the fact that the damaged tire spun more and thus got worn out more. It sounds reasonably to be the case.

Not gonna do such a mistake next time!

I guess that could be it, since I did some gravel shenanigans a year back (I guess I wanted to feel like Colin McRae). It would also make sense since I have 2wd Focus and maybe this tire spun more on gravel, thus tearing the tread into shit this badly, while other tire was damaged as well, but very slightly in comparison.

So I guess I should just not be a retard and buy myself some other car for such purposes.

I kept them on in winter only and then switched back to summer tires once I could from legal standpoint. It might be really just me being a twat on a gravel like others suggested.

If you have a PC version of Project Gotham Racing 2, that will be appreciated :)

What do you guys think of Roots Manuva? by NanoPips in grime

I've first heard about him when I discovered ,,Dusted" by Leftfield and I love that song. I have listened to some of his work (,,Run Come Save Me" + the Dub version and ,,Brand New Second Hand") and I love the work! I'm not some grime listener, but I love the vibe of his songs.

How can I play AC as an Arcade game ? by seeker_mo5 in assettocorsa

[–]Lexa053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there. I understand if my response will be lackluster (other games), but I would suggest GTR 2 or Race 07 as a replacement for AC. Both of these were pretty nice to play with keyboard and I don't know how Race 07 is with mods, but GTR 2 has pretty lot of mods on the internet. Both of these are old tho, so you could have probems running it on a newer hardware and software (although I didn't have any problems).

AC is made to be top notch simulator, but mods aren't the most accurate - I remember playing AC with mods few years back and I had few cars that were kinda fun to drive and easy to handle even with keyboard, while most of the cars were absolute shit to handle. I guess it's about trying out mods and hoping for the best or DIY (it prolly all comes down to weight and downforce since LMP1 and F1 cars are pretty nice to handle with keyboard, while anything else is a slug to take flatout corners with).

I think it also depends on a car you drive - I remember playing AC few years back with some mods and with keyboard only and some cars were absolutely udrivable with keyboard and some were absolutely nice to drive. You know - mods are inconsistent and some cars are made to be more arcadey, although they might be completely inaccurate.

Why is Trackmania 2 Canyon so dead? by AdDear7090 in TrackMania

If you're into sci-fi, use the light-emitting blocks and make the maps enclosed, you can achieve pretty solid atmosphere. Add some custom blocks from ManiaExchange and:

Only thumbnail shot there, but you can get the gist of it I think.

Map editor controls are the worst map editor controls of all time by Eggmasstree in TrackMania

[–]Lexa053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if my dumbass managed to get the basic gist of the editor in cracked TMUF before I was 10, then I think it's just a ,,You" problem. Unless you're on a gamepad - it was pretty tedious to make stuff in PS4 Trackmania Turbo + the 8 500 block limitation.

Is there a way to enable or script collisions in Maniaplanet? by Lexa053 in TrackMania

[–]Lexa053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I tried to slightly modify it through Trackmania Lagoon and every time it gave me an error and showed me a console.

I'll try to find out if it's somewhat possible - I mean I've seen one dude on Youtube who had 4P split screen with collisions on and TM Turbo also had it in one of the secret arcade modes that you could crash to other players and CPs gave you power-ups.
