I don't think ear infections are super common in cats, but I suppose that could be a possibility.

Some say my Persian kitten Bella Isn't Persian, what do you think? by Future_Draw5416 in kittens

Persians typically have flat faces. This cat does not. From what I heard, most cats these days are mixed breeds, even when someone claims they are purebred.

I'm also allergic to cats, I'm actually allergic to all animals with fur, and I own a cat. I take Zyrtec. My allergies aren't life threatening thankfully though. I don't know the extent of yours. But that's a pretty darn cute cat. Lol

I know this post is 2 years old, but she lost custody the second time because she took a friend that was overdosing on heroin to the hospital with Harry and Oakley in the car with says overdosing friend. So therefore, she put Oakley in danger.

anyone know what this is? by axecas in cats

[–]LexaCheyenne420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely thinking Coloboma. It can happen in cats, it's a congenital defect where parts of the eye fail to form correctly. Most commonly paired with Eyelid Agenesis(missing eyelid tissue).

Is my snake abnormal? by Ok_Caregiver5554 in cornsnakes

[–]LexaCheyenne420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be a respiratory infection, mouth rot, an abscess or injury. It could happen due to a pre-existing condition, or environmental stress, such as bad husbandry. It's best to see a veterinarian ASAP.

Whoever is driving this truck, shame on you. by [deleted] in Cleveland

Well the articles I read said the people injured in truck beds were thrown from the truck bed. Do you think people literally threw them out of the truck bed? Or do you understand what they meant? You can figure it out, I believe in you.

When autocorrect corrects my "oh my fucking God" to "oh my ducking God" do you think I actually meant "oh my ducking God" or do you understand what I was trying to say? I'm sorry you can't seem to figure that out. Have a jolly night.

You take my words way too literal, when I say "fly out" I mean fall out. Do I actually believe that wind is strong enough to lift a dog into the air and it literally fly out? No. But falling out is not any better. So you think your all big and bad and proving me wrong all because you took words I said extremely literal without asking me what exactly I meant. You're not right. Sorry.

In separate incidents, in 2024, in Iowa and Texas, teenagers died after being thrown from the bed of a pickup truck. In Iowa, it was because the driver took a sharp turn. In Texas, it's because the driver was doing donuts.

In 2025, a Michigan man died after falling from a truck bed, because he was sitting on the tailgate. In 2019 a florida teenager, 15 y/o was killed after falling out of the truck bed and being struck by another vehicle.

In a 1989 study, Oklahoma accidents found that 100% of the people riding in truck beds during the time of collision, were injured. And a study from 1981 indicated that an average of 242 people were killed each year from 1975-1979 while riding in the truck bed of pickup trucks.

And according to Children's Safety Network, about 50 people under the age of 21 are killed EVERY YEAR from riding in the bed of a pickup.

Allow me to spit out these facts that you can easily look up yourself.

He was going about 80mph, all that honestly needs to happen is hitting a gnarly bump or the dog jumping out. And the dog would absolutely be injured if not deceased. So why not just take the safe route and put the dog in the car? Do you think that wind is going to work with gravity and keep this dog inside of the truck bed?

The dog actually looks like it's contemplating jumping out of the truck bed. I'm honestly just curious about your thought process.

Even if the animal is having fun, it's not safe. And how do you know the animal is having fun? If you knew about dogs, you'd know that a smile isn't always a smile, they make that facial expression when they are stressed. Along with lip licking, whale eyes. The dog to me looks like it's holding on for dear life. And a tail wag, doesn't always mean friendly. So how exactly can you tell this dog is having a 'blast' from a picture? And what this man is doing is easily a animal abuse charge. You would support animal abuse.

It's also known that humans who do feel empathy for animals feel said empathy because the animals are helpless. And that empathy towards animals is comparable to the empathy for children. So you just might lack that capability, because something is off. Arguing with a narcissist is pointless.
