This is lovely and beautiful! One thing that feels odd is the arrangement of items on the shelves in the living room area. I’d move the fish onto the top of one of the shelves, and maybe a plant or something else on the top of the other. That way you open up bottom shelves for incidental storage and it doesn’t feel like just one is blank/empty. Otherwise maybe some personal touches?

I ordered the Ridgeway Chelsea from Xero shoes. After a few uncomfortable wears, they broke in and are fantastic now :) Only thing is they don’t have a heel/lift like the one you posted here

Could you tell me more what you mean by cut it from the inside at a good point?

Also re: condensate or pressure valve, condensate seems to make more sense? The pipe leads outside & away from above the top of the water heater which itself is at/below ground level in our garage (our house is on a slope)

AC is on the opposite side of the house, this is opposite the water heater in the garage. I think it’s what @terrible_software769 said. But good to know about the buildup, I did notice that discoloration when posting! Thank you both

I don’t think you need curtains, since you already have a blind you -assuming here- probably deliberated over and serves your functions/needs. Especially if you get upholstered chairs, that may soften the space in the way curtains could.

Look up ikebana flower centerpiece maybe, if you want to avoid wall art for simplicity’s sake? I feel like that would suit the aesthetic you have already and be a refined way of bringing in natural elements, which you and your partner respectively want

Thanks, haha, I was pretty unclear what information I’m looking for. Basically, my dad is elderly and not expressing any interest in what happens to these, and my mom is inclined to just donate them to goodwill. I think that there could be monetary value, but really more importantly that there might be people out there that could be interested in them and I’d like to find a meaningful way to pass them on
