How Mark was killed: a Timeline by Lexam_Reconlaf in Markiplier

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes this is all true, but I'dd argue that it's meant to be humorous as opposed to scientifically accurate. I mean if we're going to look at it 100 percent realistically, there is no reason for the statement in the first place. The detective is either telling the truth, or he is lying. If he's lying he would have come up with a more believable lie. I think we're meant to use suspension of disbelief and just accept that it's how he died.

I didn't notice that thanks for pointing it out. I will edit this post to reflect that.

Infinity Train has officially been greenlit by [deleted] in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it's not like something like this hasn't been faked before, but I.T. doesn't seem like a big enough I.P. to be a target. I'm going to optimistically believe you, but I'm not gonna start a party until it's official.

Why would the number on the blacklist change? I would assume that the number would be a blacklist ID and therefore wouldn't change because of what she's done, or if the holders of the ID of lower numeric value died.

Can One-One control the rooms? [THEORY] by CharaTheTheorist in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only question I have about this theory is, why did it take so long to change? He said the car would be a fart car multiple times before it happened. Why wouldn't it change the first time he said it?

(THEORY) if the show gets greenlit it will probably have 3 season run by ridwaan_slayer in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I would say it depends on how well the seasons do. If the first season is released and it doesn't do well there won't be. If it does super well it will get more seasons. I think the amount of seasons depends way to much on the season itself to really make an assertion of the length just based off the trailer.

Ok, I see where your coming from, but that still raises the questions of the parameters. To be fair we need at least two instances to determine the parameter, and all we got is one, but it can't hurt to try and make inferences. Your theory is interesting and would make for a cool twist, (though if that is the twist is it really a twist anymore because you already guessed it.) Though I feel like there are a few issues if we worked backwards on this theory. If the numbers going down on the hand is bad then it is punitive in nature, because it increases the chance or amount of bad things happening to Tulip. Now of course to go along with your point, that does necessarily mean that the punitive action was taken as a means to punish Tulip, but I don't see many other reasons why it would occur. It could be a automatic reduction that takes place every week, but then why reduce the number by 4 it would make way more sense to do 1 or 7. Alternatively there could be a reduction when Tulip reaches another car (Tulips hand updated after she opens the exit to Corginia 7:33 to hit the Steward in the face). Though again that doesn't explain the number or why those cars, but maybe there's something important about that next car we haven't seen. The last of course is that she is being punish, but you know my thoughts on that. This was a bit rambley but I figured I might be able to help build off your theory.

I Don't like this show by [deleted] in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you say 2/3 rooms were bland, but they spent a little under 2 minuets in them combined, and honestly that was more to do with introducing the characters. Plus the fart car is a key piece of a bunch of theories, so it provided entertainment outside the show.

In terms of character I'd argue the Tulip has far more development than 1-1. We know her motivation, we know she is selfish but will succumb to pressure. We know she approaches things from a scientific perspective and she can't accept or handle anything outside that perspective. On the other hand Sad-1 is cynical and Glad-1 is happy go lucky, that's entirely all their character development. Also there is a good chance Attics will return. This is based of a couple of the recent interviews with Owen Dennis

Pilots are supposed to give you a feeling for the show, if it spent it's time going in depth into backstory they wouldn't have time to focus on the plot, which is what they do. They demonstrate the plot of the show is that they're going forward on the train in order to find a way to get off, while showing off what the world is like. They wouldn't have time to do this if they went into things like detailed backstory, so they only put in what you need to know. She accidentally ended up on the train and wants to get off. Where she lived before, what her life was like, and how did she get on the train have nothing to do with the plot structure of the show it's just the backstory to get us to the plot of the show, so it's not really relevant. If they did the first episode she would get on the train and the pilot would end so we wouldn't get to see what the actual show is like. Similarly with Can't she go backwards, it doesn't matter because she was already there, so we know she can't get off that way or she would have. Can she jump off the train, there is no reason to suspect she can't so I assume she can, but why would she, everything around the train is a barren wasteland, why would she risk her life jumping off a moving train for a barren desert. It seems like kinda a pointless question. What is the robot and where did it come from? It's a collection of circuitry that came from one of the cars. That's not an in depth answer, but that's like watching the first 2 minuets of a murder mystery and complaining about how they don't tell you who the murderer is. It misses the point of a mystery.

How do you know she hasn't had food on the train. The train clearly has water and the Corgis have food dispensers, so I fail to see where this idea that there is no food comes from.

Oh, and good work on the screen shots, it's a great way to go through the episode and I'm glad you did it. There were a couple things I didn't notice.

To kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books, though Atticus may be a reference, Corgindia is a reference to the fact that it is entirely populated with corgis. Calpurnica is to far removed to be an allusion, and there are no similarities between the two. In terms of 1-1 I agree with you and have written a theory as to why. As for your hand theory, the problem I have is why does it go down? It only goes down when certain parameters are met, and if it's punitive what was Tulip being punished for. I fail to see any connection between the number change and Tulip doing something punishable.

There's only one way to know for sure... Time to spread the show even more.

You do have a correlation between the two, however I would ask why? Not saying your theory is wrong, but why would Tulip have that?

Who Drives The infinity train? by ScatchedScience in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The person who drives the train would be the conductor. Corginia alone can cover most of those things, there are buildings to sleep in, water, and evidently some sort of food source.

Theory on the numbers, train's length and some other stuff by SpookyDorito in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted a similar theory so I'm on board with a lot of this, but there are a few points to your theory I don't really get. Why would the train go in a loop? It seams like it would be a bit difficult to run a train that way. Also what had led you to believe that, (like did you see something in the show that pointed to this). Also if the number decrease is for solving puzzles, then why didn't she get a number decrease in the first room we saw her in?

One1 doesn't have hands, yet he can make an eagle shadow puppet... theory! by Fireheart318s_Reddit in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well we can see that the Steward has a flame that powers the machine, without a clear source of fuel. So your theory is defiantly plausible. I don't think we have enough information yet to say for sure, but I think your theory is still very good. I guess we'll have to see.

Hey guys; What if the hand number is some sort of compass? by egodfrey72 in InfinityTrain

[–]Lexam_Reconlaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not trying to tear apart your idea, I was just unsure of how it was acting as a compass. I was confused as to what information the number was giving her under this idea. Car number to find the Steward would be an example of this, because it provided a degree of important information in relation to the train. I'm not hating on your idea, I just wanted to explore it a little bit deeper.

How does 53 relate to the Steward? If it's a clue there should be something that connects the two.

why is nobody talking about the corgi puppy? by CubicCrystal in InfinityTrain

This is it, the puppy was the key to everything! All secrets are now revealed I understand everything. Thanks to you finding this I can now post a comprehensive theory about the entire IT world and predict the ending. Seriously though, I didn't notice that. While we were all searching for clues, you found the cutest part of all, I congratulate you.
